Versace was an instant hit when the first store was opened in Italy back in 1978. Gianni Versace’s brutal killing (1997) turned the company round to his sister and brother: Donatella and Santo.
Donatella took the design as her main charge, addressing to the strong, independent but terribly sexy women. The Spring Summer 2009 Ad campaign features Kate Moss and Gisele Bündchen (and Patrick Dempsey for the man collection). The accessories collection, however, didn’t impress me one bit! (don’t miss the rest of the pictures right after the jump!)
The shoes look slick and politically correct, there’s no particular chance taken with the collection (besides that Azalea bag.. what were they thinking when they chose the paint for that one?) and besides that white clog sandal (too white and plain, even so). I believe it’s safe to say I’m not a Versace girl, at least when accessories concerned. How about you? (photos via Versace)

Truthfully I never think of Versace when it comes to accessories, only beautifully designed clothing. So its always a bit of surprise to me when ever I do see any bag, shoe or belt with their name or logo on it, and not always a pleasant surprise.
every thing was great!!!
I loveee all the bags and white clog sandal of Versace Every thing is beautiful
Love Versace Bags and shoes.
They can look odd to some people but I love the perculiar shapes and colours used.
