It’s summertime on our magazines stands. Everything revolves around the beach and the sun. Vogue Paris June July 2010 issue comes with such a sunny cover, I can barely look at it without my shades on.
It’s Kate Moss wearing a golden swimsuit, heavy makeup and her usual gorgeousness glow. It’s by far more fashionable and beautiful than Blake Lively’s Vogue US. But let’s not judge a magazine by its cover only, let’s see the goodies inside. (which are – I must warn you – very photographic! Thank you, Mario Sorrenti for using the sun-given light and right exposure, right place to bring us some good imagery sans too much computer enhancements! you can jump to the gallery here)
Comme toujours, Kate Moss is the Fashion Goddess for every Vogue editor out there. I think they learn that in school. Growing up with Kate Moss as fashion deity extraordinaire doesn’t fuel the change tank much. But at least it’s something steady in the moving sands fashion sea? (talking about sea, does this pictorial look anything remotely similar to Kate’s Vogue Hommes International?) Something they’re all doing/thinking even if they come from different horizons. Luv her or hate her – Kate sure nows how to “VOGUE”.
Great cover.
And they’ll never be fed up with her.
Boring, but it works much better than US Vogue.
BTW, have you seen Adriana Lima’s Vogue Spain?
Kate looks great but I’ve seen it all before……but she can stay for those who can not get enough of her.
@s.
LOL, yes I’ve seen Adriana Lima’s Vogue! Sent it to a male admirer of hers. You may understand why? :))
Kate is an excellent model and despite what she may do off camera may be a tad jank, what she does on camera is great.
Agreed.
We see all the time photos of her as herself and she looks just like all, or most of us, au natural. Maybe even worse. But the difference is that we, certainly I, will never ever look like her in front of a camera like this. Tsja…..
I like Kate these days far more that she doesn’t seem to care she photographed just as she is.
For Pete’s sake, STOP using the word ‘jank’!
For Pete’s sake is in Kate’s case kinda comical or controversial don’t you think? ;)
note to Margareta Belle Jeanne re: the word jank.
NO. Deal with it. :)
