Having already seen Blake Lively on the cover of Vogue before doesn’t make this view more bearable. Au contraire. If you absolutely had to do it, Anna, why go at it again?
Blake Lively covers Vogue June 2010. Alongside Hamish Bowles, Blake Lively (“Best Dressed icon”) spent a good surfing time with Rob Machado and Jonathan Paskowitz. Or pretending to catch the waves. So this makes Vogue’s June issue a surfing issue. Some desperate reach to a much more rejuvenated, hype and shallow audience. Anna, we were really hoping to see some fashion-worthy material in your Vogue. Soon, the big ugly cross corner banner on Vogue’s US cover will read: “All fashion hope abandon ye who enter here”. At least that’ll be honest, right? (if you care for some endless reading, check out June’s story here)

Pretty weird cover! What’s with her leg?
I adore summer styling but Blake does not appeal to me.
On another note the editorial with Matthew Morrison is great. Glee is cheesey fun! I always enjoy the model & the actor fashion layouts that Vogue does. Many years ago Vogue featured Matthew Fox & Elsa Benitz & it remains one of my altime favourite editorials.
