Fully conscious that a collaboration between Kate Moss and legendary photographer Mario Testino would only end up in an outstanding display of professionalism and appeal, I had no doubt that both fashion pros and fashion amateurs alike would applaud it.
Kate the Great was photographed by Mario Testino for the Stuart Weitzman new Spring Summer 2013 Ad Campaign. Both the set and the shoes look made especially for Kate who, said Weitzman himself, was a complete professional during the photo session and knew exactly how to deliver her better angles for the best ad results.
A giant poster with one of Kate’s most provocative poses from the campaign was mounted on top of a New York building so that everyone could see and marvel at its beauty! But it’s not the shoes that people will be focusing on – it’s Kate’s body, sans clothes. All the Caras of the world won’t make it to that iconic status. Never. Ever!

I love the photo of the photo!! No traffic problems?
These flat gladiators are great! As the model whose the definition of the art of posing. Yes, the camera loves her but it’s her bringing in the magic. Stay around Kate!
I’ve been dreaming of a certain pair from FreePeople (gladiator sandals, that is) for 2 years now. I just wish they would slouch down and almost all the reviewers pointed out that they stayed up and too – fit on the leg :(
totally Kate the Great. I do love that picture with the red building too! It’s a great composition. Excellent location as well. But a bit too high for busy streetgoers who don’t have time to look up ;)
