Something about chunky hand knitted sweaters will always remind me of Christmas and the joy it brings. I may not be the only one, so I thought you might appreciate (at least seeing) these cozy wonders!
Hand Knitted cream Aran armchair slip cover is just one of those crazy beautiful ideas I’d instantly add it to my home. As I looked around, I realized I’d want more than just this beautiful armchair slip cover! I’d like to have the Aran Chunky knitted ottoman slip cover too for comfort purposes; I looooved the knit cream leg warmers for chairs and I was most surprised (in a awesome kind of way) by the Aran Chunky knit hanging light shade! All the handy, most talented work of Lynn Garrett! (check out the wonders I was talking about right after the jump; if you’re interested, you can see more of Lynn’s work or contact her here)

Love this too! Mind the cat though.
Aww my Grandmother used to knit us Aran gilets & scarves when my siblings & I were kids with wool really from Aran in Ireland. They were kind of heavy but kept us warm & it was only later in life that I appreciated the intricate knitting details.
Those stool socks looks so cute :) Love the idea! Ok, whole armchair might be a bit over the top for my taste but the lamp is quite nice
I started to knit at the age of five and have never ever heard of Aran wool? So let’s google this specialty.
To be honest; I say “no” to these knitted furniture stuff. It does look very cute at first side but at a second side I find it so unpractical. I rather knit some legwarmers for my own legs! Or keep it to knitted cushion covers. I have had these once. Not in white though!!
This is way nifty and I adore it!
I can knit but not well enough to do this, I could make square coasters!
: )
