So that’s why Diane Kruger wasn’t at the Chanel defile? Because she’s a Calvin Klein girl now? I’m puzzled – was she snubbed by Der Kaiser? Did she saw fit to step up her fashion game and take Calvin Klein’s splendid simplicity to show off her gorgeous self on the world’s Red Carpets?
Whatever the reason, I’m grateful she did – Chanel would have never attained such splendid simple beautiful dress! Diane looks like she’s wearing liquid gold for the 2011 Cannes Film Festival! Impressive! And look at Joshua Jackson at her side! Bow tie and black patent sneakers! Priceless, that’s that extra French something, isn’t it? Everything looks so good on the French Red Carpet! Kpriss, lol it was cold here this weekend so I thought, come on try it out hahaha….well, it didn’t look that bad at all but this is probably done by a hairstylist. We have to do it ourselves. Plus I need also thinner ehhhh….well, elastic hairbands….help me with the word please…???

I think those are bobby pins? or so they look like to me. (I have a passion of hair pins – they’re so versatile and they help create so many looks in so many creative ways!) I still haven’t replicated her exact style, but I’m getting there! (I read somewhere that she’s her own stylist? and she does her own hair and makeup? I wonder if it’s still true… And if so, Diane, please consider launching a website with your how-tos? ;) you already have two fans here and I’m sure many, many more will follow!)
LOL! I just posted somewhere a homage to Diane and Josh since someone posted Diane in a “rate the hotness game”. A guy posted a beautiful photo of Diane with great hair and the next poster had to rate the “hotness” and that one, a girl(!) rated Diane a 2!! So I thought whaaaaaat since the original poster rated Diane a 20! Hahahah, I really got over the top with Josh, then Josh and Diane stylish and then casual and I said: real hotness is you can pull it off both. Wonders how they going to rate that. Had lols.
Am off-topic: how do we get Diane’s attention to start such a blog? I know so many girls that are able to do their own make-up perfect. Even I on good day and being calm. Diane seems very cool and collected to me. So why not?
The thing with pins is they slowly slip out of my hair! I wear a firmer clip in my long fringe(?) at the moment. If that’s the right word otherwise I have to read with one eye…(I miss Fringe these day by the way…:( )

You have to twist them pins! Twist’em good! You can also use them to mildly style / curl your hair after a shower? Just twist thin hairlocks in and out of the pin, around it and let it rest for few hours or blow it dry. It adds volume and something “extra” (which I normally call frizz on my hair, but it would appear others love that effect ;) )
yeah, Fringe is the new Star Trek ;). I hope they don’t call it off – it would appear the TV channels have this disturbing, yet persistent nasty habit to cancel the best TV Shows :( .
Fringe stopped here in the middle of the season. I even wrote an angry mail on the site of the channel! I was not the only one by the way. They ‘promised’ to move one with it. LOL, right it is the new Star Trek!! :))
Argh, the next poster rated my post with a 3 one point more than the 2 for the guy who considered her a 20!! Just a photo of her beautiful face. And she posted Evangeline Lily in lingerie!! Couldn’t believe it…..guess that one point more was for Josh then?
I know what you mean with the pins I have tried this so often but it fails every time…..I can not stand it!
