The last time she was in for Cannes’ Kung Fu Panda, Angelina Jolie was lovely and very much pregnant with her twins. Not much has changed ever since, Angelina remaining lovely (and that, as you know, is an understatement) and, well, with pretty much the same frame, minus the baby bump.
Angelina Jolie, ladies and gentlemen, wearing something non – black! Proof that France really ups the fashion in one’s wardrobe! (click through for one of Angelina‘s most beautiful picture I’ve seen so far!) (photos via)

I love her face when she smiles or laughs loud. She should do that more often. Loves her dress too. Pretty, pretty pictures. :)
I love that dress! It is so classic, and she looks pretty! :)
I am looking forward to the new Kung Fu Panda film! My nephews and I loved the first and the tv specials they did! :)
She’s getting very, very thin.
The dress is made to have an almost fattening effect on her tiny frame, possibly to hide the fact she’s so thin…
She was so lovely and womanly when she had curves!
What the media has done to these women, I will never quite understand.
i had 4 kids and i look way more thinner than Jolie but i am very strong physically speaking (i bet just like her). i would never understand these people who are obsessed with curves and tones. just because some people are THIN / SLIM it doesn’t mean they are less attractive or less stronger or less of a woman than those who are what the society calls “SEXY”!
back to Jolie, she gets more and more beautiful as she ages. that dress looks lovely. i love her entire outfit and the hair and the make up.
now if only i could afford ferragamo….
Beautiful actress + beautiful dress = doesn’t quite fit properly. But I like how AJ doesn’t go overboard on the bling.
It’s not so much the fact that she’s thin really, because plenty of women can be naturally thin – that’s a question of natural body type.
When I look back at Angie’s pictures of a good while ago, it seems as though her loss of weight is a little too drastic for what her body used to look like.
If she weighed 60kg and now weighs 45kg, either she put on weight to have a bigger frame when she was young – or lost weight naturally as she got older.
Logically, a difference of 15kg is a little too much of a weight difference to be “natural” if you get me.
As for the media, I would say it encourages the contrary of “curvy” thinking, hence a trend in weight loss by numerous big actresses from the 90’s to present times.
ajginger – don’t you just love that portrait of her – the last image here?
Ellington – it’s such a cute movie! We loved it too!
trix – I can only compare her with me – for I have a naturally slender frame – if I drop only few pounds (in kg – 1-2kg, to be more exact) it shows just like you say from 60 to 45 on normal frames. I think she enjoys her skinny-ness ;)
keiko – I had the same feeling – that the dress didn’t fit right. I tried to locate the original model but couldn’t. I would’ve had something to compare if only I knew the original catwalk model!
megan wow! 4 kids! congrats! (same here) I think it’s not about Ferragamo, it could’ve been any label, I even think a good seamstress can reproduce the model with no effort whatsoever! it doesn’t look complicated for my (amateur, true) eye. It does so to you?
Yes, nice portrait and I wouldn’t start on the ill-fitted dress since I’m not her biggest fan and was happy I could reply positive…..I see curves on her though. I also can relate to the slender frame but my boobies are not that curvy as hers and I hardly see them on such skinny frames….sorry….:(
Angelina Jolie has it all, the hunkiest man in Hollywood on her arm, a distinguished acting career and an ever-growing brood of beautiful children, but considering her skinny look her main concern still seems to be that she gets paid the big bucks to look good in front of the camera, by spending a good deal of her time eating right and hitting the gym, but sometimes the ritual gets taken too far.
