Natalie Portman’s Purple Rodarte Dress For 2011 Oscars

Starting off with Mila Kunis, Natalie Portman comes as the logical next step on our 2011 Oscars Red Carpet walk tonight.

Natalie was wearing (what else) a custom purple Rodarte dress and her unearthly glow. She was holding hands with her fiance, Benjamin Millepied, and looking nothing short of fabulous. I love her side swept wavy do, I love her purple sandals, she’s so beautiful, and I’m not saying that just because she’s pregnant, look at her! (also – is there something about moms to be, Oscars and purple dresses?) (more images right after the jump, click here for the gallery!) (photos via)

She looked the best and is beautiful and it was truly great she wore Rodarte. She was the star of the evening to us Her speech was nice too and that Oscar so well deserved.
That talented kid from Leon has grown up and must have the time of her life and it showed. We at the couch were almost jealous, not in a mean way, because we admire and love her. :)

P.S. I read there’s a curse on women who won an Oscar, they divorce/separate soon after that. We sincerely hope that’s not true in this case!! Such a lovely couple….

I agree with ajgingerbelle – her downfall has already begun. For a start who the f*k does she think she is to be disgusted with John Galliano. She is in no position to even make a statement. To be so quick to make such a statement shows how stupid she really is, not to mention ignorant and self-absorbed. Seriously, wtf do u do with an oscar these days? She is an opportunist, no serious actress would put her face on a perfume. The way she has made her statement you think she was Dior – so embarrassing it’s laughable. Galliano has already made his mark as an artist weather you like it or not, I’m leaning more towards Dior trying to avoid the 17 million pounds they have to pay to replace him. Very crafty those men in suits.

Many respectable female and male actors have been the face of a perfume.
Elizabeth Taylor, Catherine Deneuve, Carol Bouquet,Cher, Alan Cumming, Kirsten Dunst, Halle Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker,Clive Owen, Selma Hayek, Ryan Reynolds, Orlando Bloom, Marlene Dietrich, James Franco,Queen Latifah, Diane Kruger, and Antonio Bandaras to name but few talented and well respected actors who have been and are the face of a perfume
Also ajgingerbelle did not say that Natalie was in a downfall she was mention some silly supposed curse on the Best Actor winners.
Natalie has every right to be offended by John Galliano’s remarks, she is Jewish, but one does not have to be Jewish to find anti semitism offensive.
I am sure that John Galliano will find peace and his path again, for one cannot keep real artistic talent down for long, but he will most likely not be working for Dior again.

Natalie is beautiful
BUT
Her dress is awful length…
The long back is great but front… AWCH!
it should be much shorter by a knee on the front , to make the great contrast with the back, or totally long on the front to make her belly look smoother .
This ankle length looks terribly wrong with this high heels.
