How can that be? Lara Stone not making it into the pages of Vogue Paris for the September 2010 issue? Lara, Carine’s weakness? Well, I tell you how: she made it into the pages of Vogue US September 2010, that’s why! Lara finally nailed it and got Anna Wintour’s attention!

Now about Kate Moss and her Vogue Paris: she’s looking odd, tired and un-fresh. Too bad for the Inez and Vinoodh shooting, I really love their photographic outcome, usually. This time, however, it’s dull and dusty. Let’s hit the jump and judge together! (click here for the gallery!)

Seeing Lara Stone with eyebrows sure is something new and embraceable as we may not all be fans of the bleaching eyebrows thing (count me as a supporter of natural looks rather than forced out eyebrows, as trendy as they want to make it look). Her Mert and Marcus photographed pictorial is so graceful and domestic, it makes me forget all that raunchiness and uncalled for opened provocative-ness I was used to seeing in a Lara Stone photo story. It’s peaceful. It’s lady-ish and it suits her!

Now getting back to miss Moss. Kate Moss and leather make a great couple, usually. Kate Moss and studio shots make a good pictorial, usually. Kate Moss and Inez and Vinoodh make a surprising photo story, at least. What happened in this Vogue Paris September 2010 eludes my immediate logic. I may have grown so tired of Kate Moss and her photo clichés as to not see how charming and fash-impeccable she actually is? As opposed to Lara Stone’s Vogue pictorial (which was apparently styled by the amazing Grace Coddington – so looking forward to her memoirs!), could I be influenced by the Vogue Paris – esque Kate Moss?
