Now if I haven’t been quite excited with the latest news about Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen sunglasses collaboration it’s maybe because I knew about this one. Balmain and Oliver Peoples have teamed up for a special sunglasses moment: Balmain I and Balmain II.

Reinterpreting the aviator design, the new sunglasses are available in two sizes with a spicy price tag: $595. I’m guessing that won’t be a problem for Balmain admirers – if their $20,000 vests can become bestsellers, these shades won’t even have the time to see dust settling in on their precious frames before being bought by the fashpopulation.
