You may remember Kate Moss from the Longchamp ads. And you may also have heard that Kate Moss went from model to designer for Longchamp this season!
Kate Moss for Longchamp is Kate Moss’ new design adventure into bagland, her first of the kind. To keep it real and coherent, she’s using the same logo/characters as for her Topshop designed line and she’s also going for a recurrent back seat ad theme (remember Parisienne?) (the story continues right after the jump with more images and a behind the scenes video!)
Kate Moss for Longchamp aims at an iconic status not many models, designers can pretend. She’s the Kate. And Longchamp make sure they take every bit of advantage from that. They even made some kind of contest for finding the perfect Kate Moss tagline they could use for promoting, reinforcing the must-have, IT-status of a once-a-model, always-a-model, sometimes-a-designer, Kate the Legend makes Longchamp bags. Wouldn’t you want one? (to be honest, I’d like the big one, the tan voyage-ish one? The trouble is… I already got one very very similar and I only paid $25 for it.. Why should I pay five figures and buy Kate Moss’ one?) (see more of the Kate madness installment from Longchamp here) (via)

Yes they are nice Kpriss, especially the one you pointed out but I agree, I am not tossing down the duccets for that line.
Pfff……so the real designer is Sophie Delafontiane? But Kate and her “omg’s” and “that’s so fabulous” “…some blue and gold here blahblah’s…”get’s the honour? Right. I know great more affordable brands. It’s almost my birthday and I give myself a nice nes bag.
Sorry, I wasn’t able to finish the video………
Ah, I’ve watched the whole video because of that blue-greenish clutch. Must say she knows what she likes and is very practical too “A mom needs two straps on a bag!” That’s so true right?
That metamorphose from her girl-next-door-look to Kate the Super Model….it’s still amazing. What can I say?
