Call me conservative, I love curly hair! As frizzy as it may be, you can always tame it somewhat, add two pins and it’ll look wonderful. Eres stuck with Lara Stone for their Spring Summer 2010 ad campaign. But things are not as lovely as they were back in their fall/winter 2009/2010 campaign.
Despite Lara’s smiling face, I have to admit her pouting, prune-ing and overall angry face does more justice to her already angry face than a wide, ear-to-ear smile. And that slick, straight hair? No-no-no! (the story continues with more images right after the jump!)
Bringing rigorous hairstyles for summer is like photographing a lion with an ice cream. It just doesn’t work the magic! Also, trying to tone down Lara Stone’s appealing body with simple bathing suits/lingerie is not a wise choice. It’s like painting the pyramids in pure white. Sure, it can be done, but why? Nah, I don’t think she does look that bad here. But I’ve to admit that a big grin is not her best pose, at least not on photos! At least Lara looks healthy.
This is what real models should look like. Some pose and faces are the best but there are pictures that will be sold.
I read this and I remembered this campaign and the cover on Voque UK.
Have you read it? It’s quite interesting!

S. Thanks for the link! Interesting. I’ve not read it yet but it’s bookmarket. :)
