Yep, that’s it! Those 2010 trends are all over the Red Carpet! Hayden Panettiere showed up at the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards wearing Tomato Puree Red J. Mendel dress!
Looking old-school glamorous with her blond hair curled up and pulled back and pinned together by at least a zillion hair pins (I confess, I’m addicted to hair pins myself! I just love the way my curly hair looks carelessly deconstructive kept together by a handful of simple, classic hair pins and bobby pins!) (the story continues right after the jump with more images!)
Riiight! So (by now you should ask yourselves why have I softened up my Hayden perspective) I’m going easy on Hayden this time because she looks ageless. Timeless. Retro glamorous. Or I may just be having a great day and I feel the urge to hug and love everyone!
What was she wearing to match that J. Mendel dress? Peep toe pumps, comme d’habitude, golden pumps by Bally; Fred Leighton blingies, Judith Lieber golden clutch. (photos via 1, 2)
I love the dress, although red is not one of my favorite colors. She looks beautiful and the makeup is impecable. I never really liked this girl but I have to admit she pulled it of at the Emmy’s this time
I love that dress but I’ve not real any idea who she is. I see her here and there in magazines….she looks very common to me?
She plays Clarie on “Heroes” Adriana. :)
She looks very old school Hollywood. Though on some fashion blogs they are giving her a thumbs down because they think she is dressed too old for her age.
She is dressed too old for her age, but what else is new? I’m so getting used to that! And so tired to pick on her way to look older than she really is! I’m satisfied with her looking decent and charming, even though in her 40s! ;)
(thankfully she’s wearing a long gown hiding away what I suspect to be the same pair of shoes she’s been wearing all her Red Carpet life!)
sry haydan .. I hate the dress .. She looks OLD but THE makeup is wOw i LOVE IT ..
