When I found this piece of news, I was so amused, I couldn’t just keep if for myself! It’s said that China, the world’s leading counterfeits market, will open a fake-only mall in Shanghai.
This means that when you get there, you’ll be in Fake-land! Everything you ever dreamed of, for cheap, with a slight difference from the original. You won’t even notice the flaw! Take for instance these three examples, soon-to-be stores in the upcoming Shanghai fake-brands store: Bucksstar Coffee, McDnoald’s, Pizza Huh. (more after the jump)
Of course, the responsible of the project are now under heavy pressure because, morally, the wrong they’re unleashing is unbelievable. Most clients aren’t brand aware – they’d walk into a consumerist trap just because they’re familiar with the images, thus being ripped off. I wonder when images with the Shanghai mall Lois Voitton or Harmes stores will be leaked. (mirror.co.uk via racked)

I’ve seen this phoney Chinese shopping center often on the News and TV documentaries.
Its so ironic as the owners of these fake stores and brands probably eat, buy and wear the real thing.
How bizarre! Its like an amusement park for shopping. I am sure that the real companies will be filing lawsuits for copyright infringement in no time.
