Wait, what? 46 years in prison for counterfeiting plastic clogs? I can understand the moral need to limit and punish the counterfeit industry, but really?! 18 Chinese counterfeiters were prosecuted and sentenced to pay apx $451,000 in addition to serving 46 years in prison for replicating & commercializing $129,000 worth of fake Crocs (plus $9.6 million in confiscated merchandise). I know 46 years sounds like a sledgehammer to crack a nut but for me this is a heinous crime…..propagating those infernal shoes! There’s enough people wearing the hideous things already!
Pfff….you must be kidding me!! Firstly, I hardly see people wearing these anymore. Secondly, I don’t care what people wear but whom they are, what they do.
So third and most important: the greedy western capitalists brought most of their production to countries were poor people are treated like slaves. And in the mean they killed off the system for the common people world wide. Filling their own bank accounts. So we live in a financial crisis now. For years to come. (Short and simplistic because it’s more complicated than that.)
So, criminals created a new kind of criminalism. They are the ones who deserve punishment like this! Big time!
