Christina Aguilera’s Pamella Roland Ombre Dress, Tan Overload AMAs 2012

I wanted to begin the AMAs 2012 Red Carpet frizz – report with something meaningful. Christina Aguilera’s voice is pretty meaningful, in my books. Too bad she had to lose herself so many times.

But it’s not Christina Aguilera’s gifted vocal registry I wanted to highlight now: choosing that Pamella Roland ombre dress was very inspired as she didn’t look quite as obvious and loud as she’s made it her style signature on various Red Carpet occasions. But what exactly went on in her head when she overused the tanning bed, is really beyond my understanding.

And she said she wanted to be an inspiration for future generations. How? By promoting skin cancer? I’m sorry Christina, but right now, the ‘Lotus’ in you is toasted! Please, go ‘Back to Basics’! (images Jason Merritt, Getty via)
