Just like Heidi Klum does. After all, she’s the host and producer of award-winning TV show Project Runway and fashion is her main business, so high heels can safely be considered her second nature.

But you got to take them heights off and take care of your feet, as much as you breathe and live haute fashion, right? So why not take a lesson from Heidi’s style book and get yourself a lovely pair of Birkenstock Gizeh sandals?

Even if you don’t trust her fashion moves, at least go with her mother’s instincts: she had her daughter wearing Birkenstock sandals as well. And that is the ultimate proof, if you needed any.

The lovely Gizeh sandals have a really modest cost to them compared to the comfort they’re offering ($80) and Lou, her daughter, is wearing white Birkenstock Rio sandals which can be bought for $60. The choice is always yours, I’m just offering inspiration and information!

However, looking at Heidi and her simple Birkenstock sandals, I still can’t believe how she could design such atrocious uppers for the legendary footwear label back in 2010 when she issued a special collaboration collection with the brand. Model after model, there was so much shine, so much kitsch, I’m actually happy it was discontinued (or so I presume, based on the lack of news about the collection from that year on and the best info I could gather was from one of Heidi’s fansite).
