Hello my lovelies! It’s that time of the week we love so much! It’s Friday! Oh, the double joy! First well… obviously because the weekend has started (almost). Second? Umm.. It’s my birthday today! (smile wide)
Let’s party! Here’s a personal favorite of mine, as always (though I’m impatiently waiting for your suggestions too, you haven’t forgot about that, have you?) Koop Come To Me! Let’s enjoy the video together and pretend it’s our party! And we’re all there, having fun, sipping on our fancy cocktails and dancing the night away! Wouldn’t that be dreamy? Love you all! Have a great, peaceful, crazy, weekend, one that suits you best and pleases you most!
Although it’s just an amazing song, I can’t say I heard of any particular movie picking it up for their soundtrack. Maybe the sound isn’t very easy to match with a mainstream flick and its offbeat-ness can make it difficult to paste on any / every film scene? Oh well, just talking to myself, I get too personal with music sometimes. But it’s very much part of who I am, it’s one of my main inspiration sources and I can’t do without great music.
This is a great day, so we definitely needed that great music! Coming from Sweden, Koop is a duo, essentially, but playing together with many other musicians. Come to me was released in 2006, part of the band’s third studio album, Koop Islands (their last album is a best of : Coup de Grace Best of Koop 1997 – 2010 and I cross my fingers for it not to be the last too).
