I missed Natalie Portman! I really did! I realized that when I saw that gorgeous AnOther cover of hers and now I’m rejoicing the royal Natalie looking unbelievable on the cover of Interview Magazine, September 2009.
I don’t even mind that she’s really not into fashion, I don’t even mind that she’s covering a Fall Fashion issue! Just look at that cover! (and try to ignore the tagline “Natalie Portman’s Dirty Little Secrets!) Is that the new ubertrendy solarize effect premiered by Madonna? It’s another Steven Meisel after effects team effort? I think she has an eco friendly fashion line, so that might make her into fashion. If this is another solarize effect photo, it is so mucj better than the LV ad. She looks gorgeous and charming on the cover plus it screams BUY ME. So I love it!
I too have missed Natalie Portman. She is lovely and talented. I may have to check this issue out. :)
You know, her vegan line filed for bankruptcy some time back (few months, I think), so it wasn’t so successful after all. But I do admit I appreciated that she was wearing Te Casan shoes from her collection to every event I’ve seen her attend in the glory days of Te Casan. That’s some statement! Pairing Rodarte and Te Casan vegan shoes!

I like Natalie because she one of the most interesting young actors around. She’s not “in your face” every day. She follows her own path. She looks beautiful on this cover. I would love to read the interview.
