Christian Astuguevieille For CoutureLab Mini Chairs

Not long ago I was telling you a Lacoste gator-logo story part of an exclusive Campana collaboration. The chairs signed by Christian Astuguevieille for Couturelab remind me of Fernando and Humberto Campana’s furniture design.

These miniature soft sculptures are simple chestnut wood chairs covered in soft, velvet-ish bean bag toys. Only suited for decorative purposes, the handcrafted Christian Astuguevieille Manta Ray and Crabes Langoustes chairs for CoutureLab look considerably friendlier than the Campanas furniture but these miniature too loose their friendly side when it comes down to the price tag! Feel ready to empty your pockets for these lovely limited edition miniature chairs? ($850 each 45x38x53 cm piece) (more images right after the jump!) (via)

The Campanas furniture had the same effect on me! At least these are toys. And the chairs are purely decorative. While with the Campana brothers furniture it’s almost at a natural scale (if not bigger) and clearly no toys involved!

#3 Sillas de peluche miniatura de Christian Astuguevieille, lujosos adornos | Globbos on 07.24.09 at 12:57 am
