Heidi Mount By Hedi Slimane For V54 Magazine
June 26th, 2008 by kpriss
Hedi Slimane’s photos are among my favorites. His black and white style has that relaxed quality I’m looking in a photograph so I won’t tell it’s “fabricated”.
And by that I’m not saying photoshop-touched (that would be almost impossible nowadays). But Hedi has a way to make a natural image caption, one that shows no effort marks and no particular restraining. Does this black and white picture look natural enough for you?

Michael Jackson Clothing Collection. Wait, what?
June 26th, 2008 by kpriss
If you believed Janet was the only one feeding the Jacksons, well, here’s Jacko coming to rescue!
Supposedly made with Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier, Michael Jackson clothing line will sell exclusively chez Kitson. I’m amazed! They say it’s a King of Pop – King of Fashion thing, but I can only think of one detail – would there be a children’s line in this very special collection? (don’t get me wrong, I truly believe the man was a musical genius and a very hard working one! But that kinda twisted him so I’m reserved about the success of his new line).

Coco Rocha Muse Magazine No13
June 26th, 2008 by kpriss
She’s clearly not the most beautiful model around but Coco has something…
Something more than a scared kid air. That supposed innocence playing in her eyes gives her a special look, some unforgettable image stubbornly occupying your mind even when she’s out of sight (there’s another picture after the jump).
H & M Fall-Winter 2008-2009 Comme des Garçons Collection
June 26th, 2008 by kpriss
Rumors running around the blog say that these images should be from the exclusive Comme des Garçons Collection for H & M.
There’s still some controversy regarding the subject. Camps are strong opinionated on the both sides of the story, but the truth is the pictures show some kind of strange design, something unfamiliarly out of the commercial track, something unusual for a high street chain that should design for everyone and for every taste. (there’s another picture right after the jump).

Jacob The Jeweler Prison Work
June 25th, 2008 by kpriss
Don’t you just love a little fashion inside story? Especially when it’s about the sparkling world of diamonds and luxury jewels.
Jacob Arabo was sentenced to prison. His jail time will be effective beginning January 15th 2009. Why not effective immediately? Because the world cannot live without him, because he has to leave things in perfect order so they’ll continue to run smoothly even during his imprisonment time.
Why can’t the world live without him and who is this Jacob Arabo?
Otherwise known as Jacob the Jeweler or the King of Bling he is everything his names state him to be and more – he is the living proof of the American Dream! Coming to the States when he was only 14 from what was then the URSS (part of which confederation, Russia was in the days), he somehow managed to become a jewelry magnate. Read more…

Vanessa Paradis Miu Miu Fall-Winter 2008-2009
June 24th, 2008 by kpriss
And yes, here they are! The fall-winter 2008-2009 Miu Miu ads with Vanessa Paradis are out in the open!
The Star-Trek-ish photo pose raises my eyebrows high in wonder and regret for Kiki’s Spring Summer Ads… Too much green, too much blue, too much powder, too much blush, too much lipstick, too much plastic-feeling. In case you were looking for the engage factor, press VP and Scottie will beam you right up! Ready for the future?

Nicole Kidman From The Vogue Cover To Bergdorf Goodman
June 24th, 2008 by kpriss
It seems Nicole Kidman has many followers. Her sophisticated style (so sophisticated I can’t really get it sometimes!) has women all envious and ready to copy her.
The dress she wore on the cover of Vogue US July 2008 issue (Catherine Martin custom design) goes retail with Bergdorf Goodman for the exquisite price of $9,850. At least if you can’t understand her style good enough to copy, you have the perfect excuse to keep 10k in your pocket! What do you say? some bags from Chanel or Nicole’s cover dress?

Marimekko Kulke Kit Print
June 24th, 2008 by kpriss
When I first saw this print I just couldn’t get it off my mind. So I’m giving it to you, to give me your opinion:
It’s a Marimekko print, you know, Marimekko whose collaboration with H&M I found brilliant. It’s called Kulke Kit and it represents a parade. Colorful, joyful and unexpected it’s recommended for the kids room. Why not? It changes the usual pink princess print or the eternal blue cars or trains wallpaper. How about it? Does is stick insidiously and stubbornly in your head too?
