Gwyneth Paltrow’s Tod’s Pashmy Dream Ad
October 12th, 2008 by kpriss
I’m a fan of stories. Telling something about an object it’s like giving them a new perspective. The perspective of life.
Gwyneth Paltrow has never been a favorite of mine. Up until Ironman. For some reason, a certain smile of hers had more meaning than all the previous ones. A certain look was more intense and authentic than so numerous before. And there I started seeing Gwyneth in another light. So her Tod’s commercial is finally out. It’s a short movie directed by Dennis Hopper revolving around one of Tod’s handbags – The Pashmy Dream bag. The short clip presents a charming story but the bag looks rather ordinary.
Emma Watson Does Flare In November 2008
October 12th, 2008 by kpriss
Flare, the Canadian Fashion Magazine goes for a winning Emma Watson cover. The tag line says with capital pale pink “Emma Watson like you’ve never seen her before”.
I looked at the pictures and I could hardly spot anything unusual going on with Emma par rapport of her other two recent pictorials for Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue Italy magazine. I can’t get over this air of sadness on Emma’s face. Everybody knows, by now, that she’s all grown up, that she’s not the same 9 years old little girl who first joined the Harry Potter project.
Emma is a smart beautiful young woman who looks better smiling and properly dressed for her age. Or somewhat fresher than these. If people could stop pimping the young just to get some fresh blood in the industry, it could be so much better! Maybe then we’d have Emma posing with a large smile on her face rather than these wax faces. Does she look natural to you? Or at her best? (photos via snitchseeker.com)

I-D Lara Stone In November 2008
October 11th, 2008 by kpriss
Have to be honest – I can’t do that wink! I’ve tried, and except if I’ll glue the eyelid, I get an impossible grimace, something I could hardly show to the camera.
So I look at I-D’s covers with somewhat unhidden admiration because of that wink! (sigh) Do they photoshop it after into the shot or it’s genuine? (because there’d still be hope for me then!). Lara Stone is the cover for I-D’s November 2008 issue with an interesting tag line (if it’s authentic, and I have no reason to believe otherwise): “Lara Stone Yes, I think I’m sexy” .
I’m one of those who doesn’t see Lara as an astonishing beauty. But what pleases me it’s that she’s not the average skinny model, not the usual beauty. She’s a walking sex appeal, that’s for sure, and maybe it’s one of the reasons she’s so catchy. So I don’t know about her being sexy, but I know about her being able to wink in complete beauty! Do you see Lara Stone as the next big thing in fashion modeling? (photo via tfs)
Angelina Jolie By Brad Pitt For W Magazine November 2008
October 11th, 2008 by kpriss
Everyone’s talking about that. Everywhere I turn my head it’s either Angie’s breastfeeding photos by Brad Pitt for W magazine or the US financial clash. At least I’ve got the choice! (Pictures from the magazine updated at the end of the article!)
I won’t get financial, we’re Stylefrizz. We love fashion and entertainment. So I’d go for Angelina Jolie and her fifth and sixth children, the twins Knox and Vivienne, her natural children with partner Brad Pitt. It’s not in discrimination that I’m saying the above, it’s because few years ago, W magazine published photos of her, Brad Pitt and five children in a story about domestic bliss in 1963. Prophecy or just marketing? (more pictures after the jump)
Katie Holmes New Obsession – Roger Vivier Mikado Flat Bag
October 11th, 2008 by kpriss
I was reading something very interesting the other day – an overwhelming percentage of people look up to celebrity style. Meaning if the Hollywood walk of fame wears a polka dot dress with tartan above the knee boots (it’s just an example, but it goes that far!) the unusual combination will instantly become a smashing hit and everyone’s wardrobe (and his dog’s) will be upgraded to the new celebrity-polka-dot-tartan.1.1.
It’s like the celebrity outfit software being installed in the world’s wardrobe. Well, let’s fuel them dressings!
Katie Holmes changed her up until now hauntingly ugly bag obsession with a slick, beautiful one. Black still, but beautiful! Roger Vivier Mikado Flat Bag is Katie’s new arm darling. You can buy the same one for $2,275 or a smaller version for $1,325. This Mikado Flat Bag in black python is from the designer’s fall-winter 2008 2009 collection. I haven’t seen her (from the latest candids) matching it with her Roger Vivier shoes, but she surely made an obsession out of Roger Vivier. Would you consider a Roger Vivier Mikado upgrade to your wardrobe? (via, photos justjared, celebutopia)
Kate Moss Wears Short Jeans With Minnetonka In October!
October 10th, 2008 by kpriss
If I was to wear a slouchy boyfriend sweater with no specific color, a micro short jean, bare legs in Minnetonka mocassin boots with pink socks inside, I would probably get cross looks and angry style measurements, no matter how stylish and great I’d feel (or look).
If it’s Kate La Moss, she’s allover the news and making trends waves, mid October! Well, got some easy fashion news for those obviously shaking the head in disapproval – this could actually work! Bare legs with micro shorts when nobody dares to do it it’s head turning for sure! It’s an attention passport. But what about the style passport? Well, it suffices to bare it in complete simplicity, comme si de rien n’était! Ah, and it would help to have flat boots, for the casual air of the ensemble! (photos via bauergriffinonline)
Friday Rolling Stones – Sympathy For The Devil
October 10th, 2008 by kpriss
Missed a good movie break? Well, here you go! Interview With A Vampire was just too much for me to forget. I saw this movie so long ago and still can’t get it out of my system!
I thought everyone played so wonderfully and they were all so suited that for a long time I saw them only as Lestat and Louis! Not to mention little Claudia and the unforgettable Armand, Le Banderas! Have you seen it? How did you felt about it? Oh, how rude of me! I’ll stop bugging you with questions about the movie, please, enjoy this great song! The Rolling Stones, Sympathy for the Devil!
Dare To Wear House of Nassat!… Or Not!
October 9th, 2008 by kpriss
You know I keep an open mind and always think about new ways of improving the wardrobe, new and original ways to use things or fabrics that haven’t been used before.
Now these! These completely revolutionize my way of looking at new! I appreciate the hard work that was put into these boots but I truly and strongly believe they would’ve made a fine cowl neck! (plus they’re far more fashionable than these). Why I carry on calling these these? Because I can’t call them boots! It’s against fashion! It’s against my style sense. However, if you can’t go on without, these are one of a kind and available for $250! And if someone else snatches this dream pair before you get your hands on, then you have the yellow ones for the same price and the same fabric value! (not to mention there’s always the cowl neck transformation if you get tired of the boots thing!) [via]
