It’s always exciting to see how the fashion sketches come to life. Especially if we’re talking about Thierry Mugler. And Sasha Fierce.
I have to admit, I was so nostalgic about George Michael’s video where the famous Thierry Mugler motorcycle leotard first appeared and I was expecting something similar. Karl Lagerfeld Reads Magazines!

You’d think the Kaiser wouldn’t have time for anything between designing more than 7 collections/year (Chanel, Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld… I left something out?), shooting countless fashion spreads and ad campaigns, designing at least two MiniMe per year and so on and so on!
Well, here’s proof that Karl Lagerfeld can also read magazines in his spare time. Want to be as chic as the Kaiser and beyond? You can start doing so by buying Intramuros, one of Lagerfeld’s magazines de choix! (that’s just one of the 16 magazines stash he left with from Colette!) The Body Shop and MTV Staying Alive conjure everyone to say YES to safe sex. And as a token of their engagement in this vital campaign, they issued a special edition of the Tantalising Lip Butter. A lip gloss that could help you and the others: you get the shiny sticky lips and they get the money!

Domestic abuse is one of those sensitive matters nobody likes to talk about or point in a specific direction. I won’t cry wolf because it’s not my place to do so, but I strongly believe awareness campaigns are there to serve a purpose: draw attention on sensitive but oh-so-important matters!
