Hayden Panettiere’s Marchesa Dress For Cannes amfAR 2009
May 22nd, 2009 by kpriss
It has a while since I wrote my last Hayden Panettiere article! There I go again, though. This girl really doesn’t learn her lesson, does she?
What’s wrong with dressing your own age? Or maybe if Miley Cyrus went for Marchesa and got away with it, Hayden thought she could pull her own Marchesa number out of Marchesa’s Fall/Winter 2009/2010 hat and look magical in Cannes! And on top of it, she just got those matching nude peep toe pumps by Christian Louboutin to perfect her Cannes look! I wish she finds a stylist! Soon! (and it that’s the work of a stylist, then she should promptly fired him/her and get someone to dress her for her age!) How about it? Love it hate it, vote right after the photos! (photos via 1, 2)

Marion Cotillard, Lady Dior And The Lady Noire Affair
May 22nd, 2009 by kpriss
Two short films for two major Couture Houses released the same month! We’re spoiled! Following Chanel’s No. 5 short film, now Dior’s Lady Noire Affair is aiming to take the Internet by storm with their Lady Noire Affair short film.
I may have fallen in love with Chanel’s 5, but there’s hardly any chance of getting that tangled up with Dior’s short film! I even got through the making of and despite of Marion Cotillard’s beautiful act, I can’t bring myself to understand, let alone enjoy this Lady Noire Affair! (the story continues after the short film, plus the making of the Lady Dior bag right after the jump!)

Get The Trendiest Sweater For Fall!
May 21st, 2009 by kpriss
Since we’re talking about fall collections, I thought I’d give you may take on the matter. The fashionable matter!
Irina Shaposhnikova is what I would call simply irresistible when it comes to making my fall 2009/2010 wishlist. The giant knits, the transparent layer keeping them all together, what a beautiful combination and what a great effect! Knitting just got glamorous for this fall! From the pages of Vogue Russia, Irina Shaposhnikova is ready to take over the world! Would you wear Irina Shaposhnikova’s knit wonders? (don’t miss the rest of the pictures right after the jump!) Angelina Jolie’s Versace Dress For Cannes 2009
May 20th, 2009 by kpriss
Everyone was curious about what Angelina Jolie will wear for the Cannes Film Festival Inglorious Basterds premiere in 2009. Mystery solved!
Angelina Jolie wears Versace (slightly modified from the Fall 2008 collection) for Cannes 2009! A delicately wrapped dress with a very daring cut, unveiling (almost entirely) one of Angelina’s long skinny legs. I’m so used to seeing her dressed in black, I’m having troubles looking at a nude-dress on Angelina. (the story continues right after the jump, with more pictures)

Only Monica Bellucci Cannes!
May 20th, 2009 by kpriss
Monica Bellucci is most waterproof in Cannes. During an appearance for a French Television Channel Show, Monica kept her usual irresistible glam self under cover.
I wonder, though, how many men would’ve applied for a security detail job at Cannes if they knew that protecting Monica Bellucci was part of their job description? (even that means getting themselves soaking wet while serving her!) (photo via)
Acne Fall Winter 2009 Collection
May 20th, 2009 by kpriss
I guess everyone heard about the fascination around Acne and their unbelievably fashionable collections. I’m not one easily fooled by trends, so I question Acne’s wearability.
I’m sure many fashionistas would daydream about their wardrobe getting a full Acne makeover, but their Fall Winter 2009/2010 collection is highly questionable. Let’s start with the shoes: of course Olivier Theyskens brought some serious heights for Nina Ricci’s fall collections, but Acne simply takes that height and turns it into astronauts footwear. (the story continues right after the jump with more pictures!)

The Fashionable Thom Browne Men Skirt Suit
May 19th, 2009 by kpriss
If I had any doubts that everything Marc Jacobs touches instantly turns into gold, a quick look at Thom Browne’s Men Skirt Suit stock is enough to establish MJ as the absolute fashion visionary.
Thom Browne’s Dark Grey Wool Skirt Suit, on sale for just $1,288, was labeled after only one day as Sold Out. Whether that is a reality or a simple marketing clever prank, the news travels fast around the Fashinternet… What say you? The Sold Out is true or false? (via)
Roberto Cavalli’s Way Is A Segway!
May 19th, 2009 by kpriss
Let’s start counting the ways designers love the Segway! First there was Chanel. (but entre nous, the Chanel Segway is not a Segway, it’s Beyond!)
Now there goes Cavalli riding his Segway in Cannes. Style copycats, prepare your black shirts, half unbuttoned, the way Cavalli likes’em, your blue jean, your white dandy-ish sneakers, your faithful cancer stick and go the fashionway, the Segway! Will they be sending models riding Segways down the catwalk? (photos via)
