Timberland Boots For Ladies!

Now this is one of those moments I feel happy to help out the economy, like our friend, Adriana said! (and so blessed to not having to give into the Prada fisherman boots temptation!) Timberland rolled up their sleeves and worked on a ladies collection!

Just look at those beauties! I’d take one of each! Lucille Lace Up in tan or black ($290 each) or Marge lace-up in tan ($190) and Gavie Kiltie in black ($170). Can you really hold back? (the Timba-ladies madness starts September 1st!) (Lucky via Refinery29)

Alexandra Zaharova And Ilya Plotnikov L’Officiel Paper Dresses

Oh, those Russians! Alexandra Zaharova and Ilya Plotnikov feat. Doberman, a Russian advertising agency got these paper dress-ups ready for L’Officiel, the July-August 2009 issue.

The trend could have been initiated by The Kaiser, but this totally upbeats him and his Chanel craftsmanship. The vision and the finish of these paper creations look surreal and uber-beautiful! Word to Lady Gaga! Forget the high class, heavy budget designers, step into the Russian World of Paper Fashion! It would suit you wonderfully. ‘til the first rain drops! Marion Cotillard Covers L’Officiel August 2009

Public Enemies sweetheart, Marion Cotillard, trades the big screen for a French Magazine and covers the L’Officiel Paris August 2009.

Even if I missed her lovely French accent as Billie Frechette, Johnny Depp’s on screen-girlfriend, Marion remained true to her charm and acted most professional and convincing. I don’t have the same feeling about this photoshoot. She looks like she’s wearing pajamas in almost every picture and the overall styling looks all wrong for her. I love Marion‘s versatility, but in this case there may be something appealing for the French; I keep my reserves towards L’Officiel. Do you? (photos via)

Jennifer Love Hewitt Playing Tennis, Wearing High Heels!

Jennifer Love Hewitt already holds a special place in Stylefrizz’ Fashion Disaster column. What follows next is placed under “Don’t Try This At Home” or “Health Hazard”! Jennifer Love Hewitt is on vacation right now. And she keeps fit on the tennis court. With high heels! Ahem.. platforms. I know they’re fashionable and all this summer, but, really, Jennifer, did you have to wear those on the tennis court? You’re a nightmarish sight for Nadal‘s eyes! (photos via)

Louis Vuitton Most Stylish Chopsticks

Oh, I’m sorry, did I wrote “stylish”? What I actually meant was Expensive! Like in ridiculously expensive Chopsticks by Louis Vuitton, the brand of all things frilly!

But don’t worry, the $450 LV chopsticks come in a monogram engraved wooden box and yes, thankfully, the fine wood box two pairs of rosewood chopsticks lie to rest and impress. You wouldn’t consider eating with those, would you? I would feel like eating with my bag! (via)

Vanity Fair September 2009 Michael Jackson And Farrah Fawcett

Even though I wish Summer could stay forever, September Magazines are already upon us! Vanity Fair’s September 2009 issue is a double cover issue: Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett take their respective Fallen King and the Fallen Angel covers to honor the two legends who were both taken from us in the same noir day. Annie Leibovitz signs the MJ cover (1989) and Bruce McBroom the FF one (1976). Beautiful! (click the picture to see larger image!) (WWD)

Urban Tree House

You know I fall completely for unexpected urban (art) beauty! I just can’t help it! It’s our jungle, let’s feel ourselves blessed whenever there’s more than just buildings around! Or more to the buildings around!

This photo comes from a city in Poland (Bydgoszcz – how can you spell that?) and it only took 350 cans and a full week of hard work from 9 talented guys to complete! From my amateur point of view, I could bear the sight of this urban landscape type anyday! (Swiatecki via Woostercollective)
