Gaga Undercover

The fashion bug caught up to Perez Hilton. Not only he was invited to numerous fashion shows these days, but he’s taking his fash-self au serieux. Disastrously serious I’m afraid!

Lady Gaga was this season’s big thing. Perez took note. He also noticed bright neon colors were highly fashionable. Take the two, stir together well and pour onto Perez Hilton. The result? See for yourself!(he absolutely trashed it all with that brown bag!) Hats …. Ahem pants off, ladies! (what if Gaga would be channeling Perez?) (photo via)

3.1 Phillip Lim Spring Summer 2010 Collection

Flowy, silky, towering heels, simple hairdos, the 3.1 Phillip Lim collection was supposedly all about the mystery woman. (they should’ve added a special mention for Rodarte: definitely Mulleavy inspiration in mixing & patching fabric: Ranya Mordanova’s black dress is a perfect example, after the jump!).

Keeping the beauty makeup palette to a minimum with just salmon shaded eyelids, natural looks and slick, straight bobs, the 3.1 Phillip Lim spring summer 2010 collection seems pulled straight out of the fashblogosphere: from the bright orange-red suits to grey minis, severely cut mustards to various fabric patched dresses. (the story continues right after the jump with more images and a video of 3.1 Phillip Lim SS 10 collection!)

Maison Martin Margiela Line 13 Home Collection

Thoroughly planned deconstructive interior design with Maison Martin Margiela’s Line 13 white home collection. Supposedly decomposing design into elements and reinventing them, rebuilding them stitched together with a couture needle, Maison Martin Margiela’s “mat, satiné, brilliant” environment is ready to hit stores in October 2009.

First presented at the Salone del Mobile, Milan 2009, the new Margiela Interior Design vibe is ethereal. (the story continues right after the jump with more pictures!)

ADAM Spring Summer 2010 Collection

Easy urban chic, satiné accents and fringe-y necklaces. ADAM spring summer 2010 collection is really easy to wear with all its pastel colors and small flower bouquets prints.

The prêt-a porter overall feeling and the relaxed look of the collection made me think about light summer days and evenings, about hot sidewalks and refreshing drinks. Easy fashion, easy to wear. ADAM spring summer 2010, as pictured here by Anya Kazakova’s black glamorous outfit. (the entire collection here)

Fashion Week Stress

Last minute fittings! Last second arrangements! Major shows, major pressure! Haute designers, haute stress. Is there a secret class of stress management, some secret Harry Potter magic potion they all drink to make it zen? Designers at work equals stress.

Special round of applause for Jeremy Laing and his special off-focus secret: ironing! We were living near an ocean of calm, all along! Now I’m looking forward to tomorrow morning’s laundry time! ahem relaxing time! Who needs to go to the gym with all that ironing right around the corner? What do you do to relax?

Michelle Williams Does Vogue October 2009

If Michelle Williams doesn’t ring any bells to you, just think Heath Ledger for a second. She was Heath’s (ex) girlfriend and mother of his daughter, Matilda. What she’s doing on Vogue’s October 2009 cover slightly eludes me.

She’s a charming young woman, nevertheless, so let’s look further. Her short blonde do, her 60s allure, everything points in a trendy direction. (the story continues after the jump with more pictures!)

Agyness Deyn Brunette Hairdo

I wish I had the time and the patience to visit my hairdresser every two to three months. I do! It just so happens that I went to see her recently, I was feeling the split ends menace approaching! And because I really am a curious bee, I asked her about the latest uber-trendy hairstyles! She told me that bobs (especially short ones) were soooo last season!

Agyness Deyn must have chopped her own locks, chez elle, or simply did a fast dyeing job. Agyness chose to ignore that no-bob-trend and sported a new, longer hairdo in black nuit. Did she joined the dark side, is she going goth or just trying to be noticed (again)? (photos via)

Amber Rose’s Elle October 2009 (Styled By Kanye)

Our friend, Ellington, was right: Amber Rose did an Elle piece! In October 2009, we have the pleasure of seeing a somewhat modelling Amber Rose in Elle Magazine, styled by Kanye West.

Why? Just because! Amber has a style of her own. On the Red Carpet, she’s the cheap looking one, but she seems to be careless about that. She seems to think she’s solid gold. I think we would have been better off without her in this Elle issue. (what’s with the Barbie picture?) Oh, and the latest? She’s thinking about launching her own collection! Of shades! Why, oh why do I feel like looking at one of Madame Tussaud’s doings when I see Amber? The woman only has two expressions: one is her face and the other… well… (via)
