Annie Leibovitz For Louis Vuitton Luggage Collection
September 24th, 2009 by kpriss
With an epic eye for photography (and a world of trouble in her personal/financial life), photographer extraordinaire, Annie Leibovitz teamed with Louis Vuitton for a luggage design project.
Her design will be auctioned off at London’s Sotheby’s, November 17th with all the proceeds going for the Red Cross. Annie Leibovitz custom LV design is about black leather trimmings and red lining, bonus a camera shoulder bag with outer zipped compartments. (the story continues right after the jump with more images!)

Yo! I’m Really Happy For You And I’mma Let You Finish, But…

And then Kanye happened! You know, Kanye West, singer extraordinaire and designer hors pair happened to the VMAs! Ever since, our Chuck Norris popular esteem was widely replaced by the Kanye West memes.
Anything Kanye goes! If Kanye will approve, of course! Just a modest reminder of a memorable media moment (“of all time! Of all time!”). Would you join the meme wave? (via 1, 2)

Temperley London Spring Summer 2010 Collection (Zoetrope Commercial)
September 24th, 2009 by kpriss
Yesterday I looked up and down the fashInternet for this one! Now I can deliver you this wonderful advertising moment as produced by Temperley London and Legs (yes, yes, again I’m jumping forward for the T; just watch the video and then tell me it doesn’t worth the alphabet leap!)
Once a fan, always a fan: I like Temperley. Girly, lovely, British. This vintage looking zoetrope was created for Temperley. It was premiered during New York Fashion Week and also exhibited during London Fashion Week.

Madonna’s Workout
September 23rd, 2009 by kpriss
Gathering material for W’s Uma October Issue brought me to some archive pictures with Madonna. From April 2003, W Magazine. Also photographed by Steven Klein.
I wouldn’t normally bring this into attention for it’s already old news, however, this time is different. Really different! Unbelievably acrobatic, the pictorial hurts. And her words hurt even more. Remember, we’re in 2003 long before any Vuitton venture:
“I’m not interested in going to a fashion shoot and just trying on a bunch of clothes, it’s so boring.”
Never say never, eh Madonna?

Burberry Prorsum Spring Summer 2010 Collection
September 23rd, 2009 by kpriss
The show everybody’s talking about: Burberry Prorsum Spring Summer 2010! I’m jumping far avant the alphabet for the B. The Burberry. The collection I thought was amazing. Capital A! Amazing! What a way to wrap up London Fashion Week!
Am I’m hopelessly in love with Burberry? Still. Look at it: the beige, the short redefined trench. The frills, the draped fabric? So simple, so beautiful! Thank you for this collection, Christopher Bailey! Spring Summer 2010 is getting under my skin. It must be something with the colors, the simple cuts, something in the air, something I’ve eaten to make me love, love, love next year’s Summer fashion season! (the only material I found, besides the arrival celeb lineup was the official video, you can watch it right after the jump, along with more images captured from that fashion show streaming)
Uma Thurman’s W Magazine October 2009
September 23rd, 2009 by kpriss
Have I told you I really like Uma Thurman? I guess so. Nevertheless, it won’t hurt saying it again: I really, really like Uma Thurman! As Tarantino’s girl, she was perfect!
W Magazine brings Uma on the cover of their October 2009 issue, as photographed by Steven Klein. Dramatic, somewhat sad and glittery, the pictures don’t make Uma any justice. Her dark roles don’t necessarily make her suitable for this kind of photo shoot; besides, she looks like Madonna in that couch fluffy take! The interview unofficially breaks the marriage news and future career plans. Uma’s back. Dark and back! (photos via)
