Uma Thurman’s W Magazine October 2009

Have I told you I really like Uma Thurman? I guess so. Nevertheless, it won’t hurt saying it again: I really, really like Uma Thurman! As Tarantino’s girl, she was perfect!

W Magazine brings Uma on the cover of their October 2009 issue, as photographed by Steven Klein. Dramatic, somewhat sad and glittery, the pictures don’t make Uma any justice. Her dark roles don’t necessarily make her suitable for this kind of photo shoot; besides, she looks like Madonna in that couch fluffy take! The interview unofficially breaks the marriage news and future career plans. Uma’s back. Dark and back! (photos via)

Uma does not always do dark roles. Where do you get that idea from Kpriss? From her two Quentin T roles? She has done a variety of light films and fantasy and sci fi from Gattaca (one of my absolute favourites),The Adventures of Baron Munchausen ( another favourite of mine), The Avengers (she made a visually stunning Mrs. Peel), Dangerous Liaisons, The Truth about Cats and dogs and My Super Exgirlfriend to name a few. I would never call her roles all dark.
She looks kind of nifty in these photos! I love her! :)

……and my fave Uma film is Mad Dog and Glory. I do not like these photos very much. I like Uma the actress more. Because she’s a great actress. Ellington has mentioned most of her great parts though.

I think that the photo of Uma with the blonde hair reminds me more of Ute Lemper than Madonna. :)
Ute is great!

True, true! mea culpa! I don’t know why I was thinking only about her QT movies! She has so many other characters in her portfolio!

Thank you for reminding me! That’s why I love you, girls! You always help me be a better me! :*
