Viral Friday: The Stockholm Piano
October 9th, 2009 by kpriss
Every now and then you have to bow down to the power of viral videos. There’s nothing like it! (except for corporate viral mails, perhaps?)
I don’t and I won’t spoil it! Just take a look at this piano, it’s totally worth it! I guess you’ll take the stairs next time? (more after the jump!)
Anna Sui Spring Summer 2010 Collection
October 9th, 2009 by kpriss
After reviewing Alexander McQueen’s beyond-futuristic Spring Summer 2010 collection, Anna Sui’s retro air and circus-friendly Spring Summer 2010 collection feels like a true blessing.
A true fashblessing! I feel my beloved Planet Earth firmly under my feet, though spinning with Anna Sui’s circus of time. Anna Sui’s collection brought the 60s back to the catwalk. With a smile! (the story continues right after the jump with more images and a video of the Fashion Show!)

October 8th, 2009 by kpriss
You must remember that Victoria’s Secret called on a casting for a new model, don’t you? Well, the casting line-up? There’s no need for further comments, please watch the video and hope for the best Angel to win! (as a complete side note: notice that my article, the one about Victoria’s Secret looking for a model was selected for a Blogging Competition, please scroll down the original article, here, and lend a helping vote! thanks!) Alexander Wang Spring Summer 2010 Collection
October 8th, 2009 by kpriss
You know I fell for Alexander Wang’s laid back T line. But this is slightly different. Alexander Wang’s Spring Summer 2010 Collection is young, college ready and football friendly with a safari twist.
Though what made more buzz from this collection was the side careless tail, Alexander Wang feels sport is in the summer air in 2010. (the story continues right after the jump with more images and a video of the Fashion Show!)

Oliver Peoples, the people shades is coming out with a new campaign this November 2009. They’ve got Shirley Manson and Elijah Wood to frontface the Oliver Peoples 2010 collection ad campaign.
Photographed by Autumn De Wilde, the campaign looks classy and fresh, with both Shirley and Elijah jetsetting the Oliver Peoples Sunglasses like nobody’s business. (the story continues right after the jump with more images!)

Alexander McQueen Spring Summer 2010 Collection
October 8th, 2009 by kpriss
UPDATE: Alexander McQueen sadly is no longer among us, read more here.
Once L’enfant terrible de la mode, Alexander McQueen has grown up to be quite a terrible designer. Terrible in so many ways, I can hardly describe him. Unpredictable yet true to his clichés. Ladies (and gentlemen), Alexander McQueen Spring Summer 2010, the Fashion Show everyone (and their respective, respectable dogs) talks about!
Driving you through your deepest fears and prejudices, the fashion show debut, the short snake love film took things even further into the psychedelic of McQueen’s Spring Summer 2010, forcing you to watch yourself on the big screen as the giant cameras roll on back and forth, on the catwalk and back in the audience. (the story continues right after the jump with more images and videos of the Paris Fashion Show)

Urban Landscape, Japanese Style!
October 8th, 2009 by kpriss
Something tells me they will not stop here! The city of Kobe, Japan, just honorably received/unveiled a new honorary citizen in their urban landscape: Gigantor.
Gigantor is a nice 60-foot statue and (on an imaginary time axis) goes right between his predecessor 59-foot Gundam from Tokyo and the upcoming Taekwon V (Voltar the Invincible) that’ll measure twice the height of the honorable Statue of Liberty! (via)
Katie, Julianne, Zoe, Renee, Emily Cover Elle’s November 2009 Women In Hollywood Issue
October 7th, 2009 by kpriss
Elle Magazine dons five different covers for November 2009. While there’s only one to hit the newsstands, four more surprisingly beautiful covers go for the subscribers issues.
The Women In Hollywood after Elle are: Emily Blunt, Julianne Moore, Katie Holmes, Renee Zellweger and Zoe Saldana. I find it a bit strange to see Katie taking the cover right after her on and off best friend, Victoria Beckham. Maybe it’s just me, maybe it’s just marketing. Who knows?
