Heidi Klum’s Couture Banquet Giant Puzzle
November 26th, 2009 by kpriss
Normally, you wouldn’t see new moms everywhere. Not without their newborn. However, everything’s different when you’re in the business. In the spotlight business! Heidi Klum Samuel was honored with a giant puzzle. Her Couture Banquet image, from a Vogue edition (the Spanish version) photographed by Ruven Afanador was made into a 1,000 piece puzzle and sold by Editions Ricordi for $490.
The 24×36 inches puzzle comes in a hand-made wooden box with red velvet lining and the actual pieces are packed in a silk bag. Printed on high quality art paper, the puzzle has a velvet back side (with golden glitter). If you know any puzzle passionate fashionista, hurry up, this Heidi Klum giant puzzle (to maximize the effect, click the picture to see a large image of the exquisite puzzle) is a 1,000 limited edition, each numbered and signed by Ruven Afanador himself. Doesn’t it make an artsy Christmas gift? (Art Daily via Luxist)

Kristen Stewart With And Without Photoshop
November 26th, 2009 by kpriss
While the main Photoshop controversy title is still held by Demi Moore’s W cover, here’s Kristen Stewart’s Dazed and Confused before the final photo editing maneuver.
She’s not far from her usual self, being young is already in her advantage, however, one must ask: what’s the point of makeup if everything can be done in a digital way? Who needs models, anyway? (ah! I know the answer to that one! Models are stand-up bodies for famous people in need for a silhouette swap when covering an artsy fashion magazine!) (you can rejoice the massive migraine of the switching bodies hypothesis for the cover of W Magazine here; however, before you get carried away in a sea of hate and cast the photo-moral stone, you should also know that there was no such evil thing done and that W cover, even if guilty of tons of airbrushing, cannot be put on stand for the changing-bodies-scam!) Tiffany Co Makes Diamonds Keys
November 26th, 2009 by kpriss
I have a confession to make, before I head away with this article: I’m a complete wreck when it comes to holding on to something! Something happens and it slips! It falls. It drops. My last achievement? Closing and locking the door and accidentally dropping my house key in the garden. (luckily my Adored Husband asked me about it and we went back to search for it; the night had fallen and it was a pretty interesting activity overall! I’m seriously thinking about investing in a pocket metal detector. If there is such a thing, I’d have to put one in the house, one outside, one in the car and so forth. I’d even ask my friends to have one in their house, just in case!)
So you see… these diamonds keys from Tiffany & Co. make me very emotional! I’ll have our house key encrusted with diamonds and wear it around my neck, for safety reasons! Why would you think someone would wear a key pendant? (click through to see more keys from Tiffany & Co!) (via)

Dare To Wear The T-Bag By Cabracega?
November 25th, 2009 by kpriss
Just to set things straight: this has absolutely nothing to do with Prison Break’s T-Bag! Nothing. Nada. It has everything to do with sustainability.
The T-Bag is a concept issued from a Project on Social Economy by the Portuguese studio Cabracega. They imagined a plastic bag that can become a T-shirt. Though if it must be made, I’d rather go for a paper T-Bag, what say you? Can this go global? Is there a purpose and an authentic meaning to the T-Bag as designed here? (via)
Lego And Muji, The Amazing Special Series
November 25th, 2009 by kpriss
There’s virtually no limit when it comes to Lego. Far from the original toy-status, Lego is now a legend and ready to join you in every adventure: from housing to dressing.
Nonetheless, Lego toys still are a delight and seeing this new collaboration between Lego and Muji makes my heart sing with joy! There’s also an important downside to this: the Lego and Muji toy series is only available in Japan! (the story continues right after the jump with more images, check out the gallery with the amazing Lego and Muji creations!)
