Fuchsia Pink Is In Fashion
May 9th, 2010 by kpriss
With all that retro flavoring the fashion-air, does it still surprise you to find pink leg warmers in old MacDonald’s farm?
Alton Towers, a prestigious fun park in the UK is celebrating 30 years since it’s been open. For the occasion, 80s themed makeovers have taken over the park. Take these donkeys for instance: not only they’re wearing fuchsia leg warmers but their extensions could make Paris Hilton green with envy: over 100,000 strands of human hair stand proudly on their adorable heads. Oh, fashion, what have you done? (via)

Maison Martin Margiela’s White Box Clutch
May 8th, 2010 by kpriss
It’s been two days already and I’m still gazing pensively at this clutch. Coming from the house of Martin Margiela, the white “Box” clutch bag is very much in flavor with other Martin Margiela items and quite self explanatory.
However, that doesn’t take away the rising eyebrows reaction you’ll get from walking around with a tie box as a fully functional bag (I highly doubt it’s also practical). This is the perfect example of covetable luxury you can make in the very comfort of your living room using simple materials. If you’re stubbornly going for the real thing, the Box clutch from Maison Martin Margiela costs $430. Pretty heavy for an empty box, isn’t it? (via)
Best Friends Forever
May 8th, 2010 by kpriss
Some images aren’t cut for words. Really! Take this moment in time, par exemple: two animals unlikely to tolerate each other developed a close friendship.
Leopards and dogs can be friends (if the dog is a Golden Retriever – have I told you how much I love these dogs? They’re the most playful, cheerful, warm, loving and docile creatures I’ve ever met). And what else could make a great weekend even greater? Knowing the world is still the same wonderful place we love and its creatures live together in harmony. (photos via)

Fancy Some Pret-A-PorTea?
May 8th, 2010 by kpriss
Tea Party’s series made by the Germans from Donkey Creative Lab is so smart and funny, I would most certainly become a fan!
Being a heavy tea drinker myself, I missed the challenges of a really original packaging. Yes, you have so many flavor choices, but when it comes to packaging it’s either the raw tea leaves or the same old hanging tea bags. Donkey Creative Lab’s idea was to transform your tea cup into a tea bath with tea bags as your personal invites. The Tea Party series is declined in significant categories: the Cup of Fame, the DemocraTea, the RoyalTea, the Pret-a-porTea, the Genious & InsaniTea, the Zoo ParTea and so much more! Check out the Kaiser’s cup of tea (right after the jump!)! Isn’t he something? (Donkey via tJB)
Katie Holmes Dancing For Tom Cruise
May 6th, 2010 by kpriss
Tom Cruise And Katie Holmes did a little dance together. For charity purposes (luckily) at “A Fine Romance” Benefit for The Motion Picture and Television fund. So we’re not to criticize (too much) their (so-called) performance.
Whatever Lola Wants from Damn Yankees looks pretty comical with Tom and Katie stage plays. Though speculations run free that in the real life whatever Tom wants, Tom gets, Katie tries so hard to prove us that she’s the main chord of the TomKat violin, everything ends up looking plain odd. Whatever pleases them. I only have this to say: those were some really hard to watch two minutes and a half and Katie’s dance style feels more like a strange self punishment routine than artistic performance! (via)
UPDATE: Hoping this won’t vanish just like the original one did; even if it’s only a small part of the performance, you’ll get the idea, I’m sure!
Agent Provocateur’s Car Wash Window
May 6th, 2010 by kpriss
There’s little to consider when looking at a tacky window like this one. Agent Provocateur’s Car Wash window from their Manhattan store will most surely draw attention (and more).
We’re working so hard to prove bad clichés are wrong for our society and then something like this comes along… Yes, Agent Provocateur’s line of business is meant to stir up controversy but I so wish they’d do it by lining up outrageous designs than rather playing dusty, bubbly clichés, wouldn’t you? Emma Watson By Patrick Demarchelier For Vanity Fair
May 6th, 2010 by kpriss
The white Burberry she had on for the Met Gala 2010 is still fresh in our memory and it looks like we’ll have to get over it pretty soon: Emma Watson was photographed by Patrick Demarchelier for Vanity Fair.
Judging by the preview photo, it’ll be a nice, warm pictorial, which you can guess more from the behind-the-scenes video (right after the jump). In short – Emma talks about being just like Hermione while growing up and experiencing her new Brown University life. A normal life, she said. All I have to say this time is kudos to her for staying out of trouble and being discreet and charmingly normal. But what do we know, after all?
