Benetton It’s My Time As Seen By Susie Bubble
June 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
Now there’s something you might have discovered about me, throughout my articles: take a pretty song, a funny face and that’s all it takes to make my mood shiny and bright. I’m sharing. Because I want you to feel the same.
This is a video made by Susie Bubble at the shooting of United Colors of Benetton It’s My Time campaign. 19 individuals from all over the world pulling funny faces in front of Susie’s camera. That and add Fred Astaire’s Funny Face. Irresistible, wouldn’t you say?
Anorexia. What We Really See!
June 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
We’ve talked about it before. Only we touched their side of the mirror. Now let’s show them only our side of the story, what they’re showing us. It may be helpful, one day. Maybe.
Besides being aesthetically pleasing, photography is also morally triggering, sometimes. Such is the case with Ivonne Thein’s work. She’s touching issues of great concern both public and personal and even though I believe this is just a minor (borderline meaningless) attention sign, I feel concerned and writing about it because I care. Because we all care at some point, somewhere. For us. For our friends, our family, our children. Let’s keep them safe and healthy!
Now getting back to Ivonne Thein – I came to know her through her Thirty-Two Kilos series. That’s what you’ll see below. (the story continues with more images right after the jump, click here for the gallery!)

Repetto And DC Comics Flash Red Suede Ballerinas
June 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
Part of the already infamous Colette DC Comics collection, the Repetto red suede shoes could be a match made in superheroes heaven for the Sonia Rykiel Wonder Woman dress!
At least the shoes look wonderful, must feel great, they’re Repetto after all, and they’re available for only $255,25 (which is really something else, considering the $1107,63 Rykiel dress ). Now you should also know why they picked on Flash for this collaboration: “We liked the idea to create a ballerina inspired by Flash, to keep only the flask of lighting of his great make powers and to put it in women feet!”. Catchy, eh?
Rihanna Replacing Madonna For Dolce & Gabbana Ad Campaigns
June 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
As always, the rumors running round the blogosphere caught wind of the changes before they actually took place. And we’re loving it!
Rihanna is set to be the next ad campaign spokesperson for Dolce & Gabbana 2011. The “bosses” apparently saw her wearing D & G repeatedly and they thought she’d embody the spirit of their next collection’s ad campaign. Quite the change, even though I’m sure they’ll use her usual raunchiness to make it work. Should we hope for a makeover? (via, photos via 1, 2)

Dare To Wear Dodo Jewelry?
June 1st, 2010 by kpriss
Celebrating 15 years of existence, Dodo marks this special moment with a Panda tribute. Part of the proceeds go to WWF Italia and the very collection is actually inspired by the Association’s symbol (the Panda bear).
Now let’s see just what exactly Dodo stands for: they began in 1995 and ever since they’re expanding their family. With each new addition, the animal – inspired charms carry messages of love and friendship (the pieces of jewelry actually speak). The brand’s name itself is pretty meaningful – Dodo is the name of a bird living alone in Mauritius (but it didn’t survive the extinction). Dodo is an avid supporter of WWF Italia (World Wide Fund for Nature Italia, world’s most important global organization fighting for the preservation of nature). Vivienne Westwood Anglomania For Lee Jeans Collection
June 1st, 2010 by kpriss
I love Dame Viv’s sense of style. That being said, we can move on now: I love Dame Viv’s sense of fashion. Ok, now that I got that out of my chest, let’s see what’s next: I love Dame Viv’s whimsical views on trends and her magical wardrobe ways.
Now seriously, can you disagree? I remember how much Vivienne Westwood’s fashion was close to my heart upon seeing her latest fashion deed: a special collaboration between her label Vivienne Westwood Anglomania and Lee Jeans. It’s all so happy, bright and colorful, I could even forgive and forget the lowered crotch jeans I hate so much. (do I spot some Melissa shoes there?) (via)
Zac Posen Interior Designer Work For NYC Duplex
June 1st, 2010 by kpriss
First I’d like to warn you about my tastes in interior design and home decoration: I strongly, without reserves, wholeheartedly embrace, love and long for warm, cozy, comfy homes and interior decorations. I’m a country hippie (with heavy childproof-house influences) if I must describe my home-style in short. Now let’s get on with the story…
Zac Posen’s designers ventures had brought him to threshold the fashion industry into the home decoration field. Which isn’t such a bad venture, judging by the sound of it. He has been contracted for some serious interior design in the 16 West 21st Street luxury residence building from NYC, the Flatiron District. His model apartment is now ready for show, are you ready for a special tour? (click though to discover Zac Posen, the interior decorator)

Sonia Rykiel And DC Comics Wonder Woman Dress
June 1st, 2010 by kpriss
Remember that extraordinary superheroes Colette collection we talked about just a while back? You have to see this!
Sonia Rykiel was also part of the DC Comics project and therefore she designed this special Wonder Woman dress “Because we are all Wonder Woman” said Rykiel herself. I wouldn’t wear this for daily chores, I would, however, take it into serious consideration for a ball or some superhero-themed party. That if it wasn’t for the price ($1107,63, chez Collete). Regardless, it’s a wonderful dress, wouldn’t you say? (click through to see more details)
