Paul & Joe Fall Cat Shaped Lipstick
August 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
There’s definitely something about women and cats. How many of your (lady) friends own a cat? Two? Three? Now if you don’t have the privilege of owning a real fur cat, Paul & Joe thought of you with a new lipstick collection for fall winter 2010 2011.
The interesting design, in the shape of a cat’s head can’t be neglected. First since it’s a unique, risky symbol to be used with such an intimate beauty gesture, second because, well… it looks weird?
With names like Clair de Lune, Over the Moon and Moon Shadow, the $25 lipstick is a limited edition beauty supply from Paul & Joe (courtesy of Sophie Albou, the label’s designer, and her vision of her favorite animal). How does it look like to you?

I know I usually bring you these on Hump Days or Fridays or even in Weekend days. How about if we started the week with a happy sighting?
Have you seen the Static Dog? It’s quite something! 20 seconds of static viewing pleasure to kick off your week on a joyful note! (I’m sure no dog has been harmed in the making of this static video! Especially not Biscuit, the star of the clip!) (via)
How To Do It Yourself Cobweb Shredded T-Shirt
August 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
It’s such a Rodarte-ish thing to do, it’s such a rock’n roll gesture that wearing the new shredded-back tee has become a must. I’m one of those who still believe trends and fashion come cheap with a little imagination effort.
All that stands between you wearing a wonderful web shredded tee and a normal white tee is a pair of scissors, to start with! Click through to see how it’s done!
Most Fashionable Swimsuit Comme Des Garcons Speedos
August 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
What would there be, at the end of the day, for couture houses, if it weren’t for the mass retail business? A little collaboration here, a small design feature there, it’s about spicing up the market.
Speedo and Comme des Garcons latest collaboration feature the Tie Dye and the Logo Script are supposedly inspiring for the swimmer. The watery CDG Play collection is not a first for Speedo – they started working with Comme des Garcons in 2006 and it has proven to be a success. Now since the swimsuits seem to no longer be available on the official website, would it be their impolite manner to signal a complete sellout? I was thinking it was more appropriate to mark the product as “sold out” rather than hash them out completely, right? (Speedo via Dyb)
Ready For Roger Vivier’s Perfumes?
August 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
There’s news about some labels launching yet another perfume – a Marry Me here, an Amazonian wonder there. However, when it comes to Roger Vivier, things are getting serious with not one, not even two but five different perfumes coming out this fall.
Now I keep wondering – our beloved celebs who love oh-so-many things Roger Vivier, will they crack completely and wear all the scents at once? Just asking… More so since Ines de la Fressange (the brand’s ambassador) said:“Luxury is about not having to choose.”
Iris, Neroli, Rose, Santal and Ambre will be the main notes for each of the five fragrances, as well as their names (the first perfume presented to the world is L’Iris). Priced at $181,75 the 50ml edt will be widely available this very October at Roger Vivier stores worldwide. Expect no buckle for the bottle, though. Just a square-ish recipient. (via)
Have You Seen The Cool And The Bag Bags?
August 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
What you’re about to experience is called Dan Hillier for Cool and the Bag totes. It’s a visual treat, beyond the practical and the fashionable simpleness of a white canvas tote.
It’s the perfect bag for street fashionistas all over the world. It’s the perfect aesthetic statement against all those violently luxurious brands out there (who, by the way, announced substantial increases in revenue for the past financial exercise due to Asian markets, mostly). I love the bags, I love the name, I love this graphic series by Dan Hillier. How about you? (Cool and the Bag via viacomit)
Latest Manicure Trend Black Zipper Nails
August 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
We’ve seen all kinds of nails. All types of manicures from classic to wild. There’s no stopping a burning imagination from taking the things you’re used to seeing/using in one place and make an unthinkable manicure out of it!
And this tops the Cheese Nails feature by far! Zipper Nails! Why haven’t I thought about that before? I promise, one day I’ll take my old mobile phone, tear it to pieces and put every mad chip and microchip on my nails, see if that’ll make my nails ring afterwards! (LSK via 2BD)
Erin Fetherston’s Juicy Couture Collection Goes Like This
July 31st, 2010 by kpriss
We talked about Erin Fetherston getting a collection ready for Juicy Couture a while back. Now it’s time for a first look at the very collection.
And the first dress is (drum roll please!) identical to the one worn by Erin herself for the Met Ball 2010. How lovely! Too bad not many body shapes can pull a velour dress without making it look like a bath rope. I think I’ll stick with Juicy’s velour pants for now. How about you? (via)
