Kid’s Wear
October 14th, 2010 by kpriss
Are you familiar with Kid’s Wear magazine? Founded in 1995 by the renowned photographer Achim Lippoth, Kid’s Wear magazine is dedicated, just as the title announces it, to children’s fashion.
With a little help from esteemed photographers and writers, the magazine puts together two issues a year (over 250 pages of childhood, fashion and contemporary lifestyle issues) published in German, English and Italian. The critics weren’t insensitive at the charms of Kid’s Wear magazine, thus awarding the publication with major recognition titles (recently, Kid’s Wear was honored by the Art Director’s Club NY and the Art Director’s Club Deutschland). Victoria Secret’s Rain Boots, My Favorite Rain Boots This Season
October 14th, 2010 by kpriss
I’m a Hunter girl. I love Hunters because of their genderless quality and unique standards. However, that doesn’t make me blind or insensitive to other rain beauties… ahem boots! So here’s what I found:
Victoria’s Secret Lug-sole Rubber Rain Boots come with an interesting price tag (sale, $69) and two attractive shades: army green and black. I’d love to have them both and rock them around the city. For me own backyard I still have some industrial black rubber boots. But then again, nobody can fash-blame me in the privacy of me own home, can they? Don’t you just love these rain boots?
Maison Martin Margiela Sunglasses
October 13th, 2010 by kpriss
Take a look at these sunglasses! Now that’s a pair I’d love to try on! Just to feel the feeling and wear the look for few seconds! Wouldn’t you?
It’s the perfect deconstructed pair of shades I’ve ever seen! That and I’m an Aviators fan at the base, so I’d be naturally interested in anything related to the Aviators. Even an Aviators Hybrid signed by Maison Martin Margiela for the Fall Winter 2010 2011 season! Made in collaboration with Cutler & Gross, this interesting pair of sunglasses is already a sold out item, even if it was originally priced at $630! Interesting, huh?
Linda Evangelista For Talbots Fall Winter 2010 2011 Ad Campaign
October 13th, 2010 by kpriss
Seriously, how old is this woman? I keep looking at her and can’t tell her age! Seems like she’s been around forever and still going stronger than ever! Linda Evangelista, my daahlings! Gorgeous as usual, starring in a new ad campaign: Talbots Fall Winter 2010 2011.
Sure there was little chance that the campaign would be a failure given that the imagery bares the unmistakably stylish Mert and Marcus signature. Loving the simple styling, the studio photos and Linda’s cruel, unforgiving beauty! Talbots wanted a recognizable face for this campaign and choosing Linda, they also picked up a world of positive feedback. Now they’re already announcing that their next star, for the Spring Summer 2011 campaign will be Julianne Moore! Hoping they’ll be more faithful to Julianne’s physical reality than Bvlgari… (click through to see more images; click here for the gallery!) (via 1, 2)
The Jeans Boots Happening At A Store Near You
October 13th, 2010 by kpriss
While you’re sitting in the comfort of your home, atrocious fashthings happen on the outside! And think no further than a shoe store near you!
The boots and booties are about to invade our wardrobes so get ready so some serious style offending moments like this one! Someone out there thought that if jeans are in high fashion and so are boots, then pairing the two together in the most simplistic manner possible, it will surely make a fashion hit. Somewhere. Sometime. Aren’t you eager to go boots hunting? (via)
Stella By Wes Anderson And Roman Coppola
October 13th, 2010 by kpriss
It’s been so long since our last fashvideo here! And, truth being told, I haven’t missed them so much! They’re so complicated, they always put a big question mark over my otherwise functional logic, I feel there must be something wrong with the fash videos of the world.
Anyways, here’s a short video a l’occasion de this week’s Hump Day entertainment. Signed by Wes Anderson (Darjeeling Limited among others) and Roman Coppola, this charming Stella Artois commercial is totally worth a minute of your time! Enjoy and do have a Happy Hump Day!

Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2011 Shoes
October 13th, 2010 by kpriss
Have you noticed those on the Louis Vuitton catwalk the other day? I didn’t! I was so blinded by the kitsch-iness of the ensemble, I overlooked the details that built the actual ensemble! Ho and behold, the new it shoes: Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2010 Giraffe Stilettos!
Now that some statement shoe! Not only does it look highly impractical to walk in (you noticed the models and how they had troubles in keeping the balance), but the actual design of the heel is just…dubious. In an artsy kind of way, sure, no worries, fashionistas all over the world, it’s a mighty daring shoe, go out and buy it! It’s the kind of extravaganza Marc Jacobs would promote. Just because he can. And just because there are oh so many fashion sheep to follow his style lead, regardless of where he’s taking them! (style via)
Christian Audigier’s Home
October 13th, 2010 by kpriss
Aren’t you happy when there’s a new celeb house on the market? That’s how we all get to actually see how they’re living and where they’re spending the few hours they actually inhabit their homes and not some hotel room in some fancy city, some fancy country.
Today it’s Christian Audigier’s nest that’ll be under our scrutiny. Because it’s for sale. For a modest, though undoubtedly fair, $8,299,000 price tag. What you may find impressive, on the other hand, besides the price (Christian Audigier bought the house in Juanuary 2007 for just $4,780,000 – so you see, the Audigier touch just double the mansion’s value), it’s the look of the mansion!
