Season’s Outfit Christopher Kane Galaxy Skirt
November 15th, 2010 by kpriss
While this may look like the perfect skirt for the Winter Holidays season, Christopher Kane designed the skirt for his Spring Summer 2011 resort collection!
Hurry up in picking up on the new starry trend before Rihanna shows the world the new Christopher Kane must have print! If you’ll hit the jump, you’ll see that there’s a zipper finish on the skirt, and not the usual finish you’d expect from a silk garment. How much to keep avant all trends with this new Christopher Kane stars printed skirt? $1,255. My advice? Write it down for Santa.. never know!
Lara Stone’s Elle Netherlands December 2010
November 15th, 2010 by kpriss
Lara Stone on a magazine cover. Isn’t that new and original? Now when it comes to this December 2010 cover, things are completely different. Lara Stone cartooned for Elle Netherlands is quite a new perspective over the Holidays magazines covers!
Keeping it seasons fit, the cover keeps on growing on me. I don’t know if it’s because there’s no actual Lara on the cover but a crayoned version of hers or… What do you think? Is this a fashion worthy cover? (Elle via)
Hello Kitty Wears Glasses
November 15th, 2010 by kpriss
Once you hit the 1st of November this year, you didn’t really thought about Hello Kitty, did you? Well you should have! Because, daahlings, Hello Kitty’s birthday was on November 1st! And now she’s 31! Imagine that!
And she received a very special gift for her 31st anniversary! She received a pair of glasses! Because you know, life’s getting a lot clearer once you hit the big three-oh. Now we could look at things from a cool perspective and say that Hello Kitty’s new smart looks are adorable or we could say that earning your first pair of glasses once you’ve past the 30 threshold is a bit sarcastic to say the least. How do you think we should take this? (via)
Helena Christensen, David Gandy Away We Stay
November 15th, 2010 by kpriss
When was the last time we saw Helena Christensen? Lost track, really! Here she is, alongside David Gandy, the face of Dolce & Gabbana starring together in a short (well, not that short, really) movie written and directed by Edoardo Ponti (Between Strangers).
While being an ad campaign for the W Hotels, the shortie, based in London, talks about a supposed love story between Helena and David. Two misfits finding the way towards each other through London’s grey skies. This is supposedly the first from a series of short advertorial films for the W Hotels. If the rest of them will continue on the misfit, second chance story like that, I’ll see Christina as the Bella Swan of fashion while David Gandy will definitely be the Edwad Cullen. Fashtwilight much?

Freja’s Harry Winston’s Campaign Laugh
November 13th, 2010 by kpriss
Remember the first encounter we had with Freja Beha Erichsen’s laugh in the Harry Winston ad campaign a while back? She was doing the bride. And she was truly lovely!
Two more images of the campaign have surfaced recently and Freja looks just as enchanting and surprising with her open smile and casual looks. If their advertorial perspective was the demystification of the luxury, they nailed it right by using someone like Freja into a completely ingénue attitude with and towards the sparkling jewelry. Don’t you feel like wanting to frame these shots and post them on your walls? (photos via)

Sonny And Cher I Got You Babe
November 13th, 2010 by kpriss
Cher was a hot topic around here these days. And I thought, maybe, just maybe, this will set the records straight: I’ve got nothing but sheer admiration for Cher’s talent and her career. However, I also think one cannot alter his / her physical appearance without losing a part of him / herself. It’s like changing the course of a river. It’s just not the same river anymore, isn’t it?
So that was for me. This is for you, for you to enjoy and continue celebrating this, undoubtedly, great weekend! Thank you for yet another wonderful week and for your insightful comments! Ladies and gents: Sonny and Cher I Got You Babe!
Hermes Fingerskate Amazing Video
November 12th, 2010 by kpriss
Hermes is back in the spotlight with a new, fantastic campaign “Fingerskate”. It’s definitely a teaser, since it doesn’t focus on anything in particular, it just streams the entire Hermes portfolio with no stop (that is, if you count out the scarf – end).
I’m not 100% convinced some of the fingerstaking scenes weren’t computer enhanced, and even so, it doesn’t steal the awesomeness factor away from the mini video show. Whoever is working on how Hermes’ image is projected out here does an outrageously good job and creating a magic, fairy tale aura around the orange luxury brand is a happy idea both visually and commercially. It wouldn’t surprise me if we came to refer to Hermes, shortly, as the life – like – a fairy – tale – brand. Magically, Hermes. How do you love the video? (via)
