Is This Bella Swan’s Wedding Dress?

While the rest of the (real) world is impatiently waiting for the royal wedding bride dress designer reveal, the twihards need no more waiting for the dress of their beloved Bella Swan looks like this.

The illustrations, drew by Young Kim are part of Stephanie Meyer’s “The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide” so it’s not yet certain that the actual dress, from the movie, will look even remotely similar to the one depicted here. But it’s the closest we’ll get to Bella Swan’s wedding dress as the currently filming ceremony scenes are under such tight security wraps that not even a fly can live to deliver the valuable inside information!

(I have to ask, though, since the source said that there was not one but two illustrations of the dress – which one is the real wedding dress – the one at left or the one at right for any fashionista will tell you these are two different gowns! Maybe bridal dilemmas are the new it!) (via)

Emmy Rossum’s Emmy Elie Tahari Bag

Are you familiar with Emmy Rossum? She’s a young actress and her latest performance is Shameless’ Fiona. (Shameless being the new TV Series on the rise right now)

Something about Emmy (besides her obvious charm and loveliness) has brought Elie Tahari to the conclusion that an Emmy bag was de rigueur. We don’t mind, do we? The fashworld is always hungry for new designs, especially when it’s celebrity – related! In a good or a bad way, they all end up talking about celebrity fashion.

Charmed by the styling process and the design team working under Elie Tahari‘s label, Emmy has declared herself really “thrilled with the final results“. And rightfully so since proceeds from the sales of the Elie Tahari Emmy bag will go to benefit Safe Horizons (US largest victims services agency). Vintage Style Salvador Dali & Walt Disney Destino Animation

Though I could have easily sworn it had something to do with Prada (remember Linda Evangelista’s ad campaigns for the couture label?), these is the work of two giants: Salvador Dali and Walt Disney. They worked together some time ago and their work has finally been finished and revealed.

And it’s nothing short of fabulous and magic. Please consider taking five minutes of your time for this animation masterpiece! (via)

Reese Witherspoon’s Vogue May 2011

There’s something about Reese Witherspoon these days! That’s why she keeps on being featured on various magazines covers in less than a month! Now don’t get all heated over this, it’s nothing simpler than a new movie coming up with Reese and Robert Pattinson (Water for Elephants).

Besides the obviously retro-ish cover, the inside pictorial is a giveaway in the movie’s direction: the circus theme. Reese, however, looks lovely, way prettier than in her Elle UK feature (which you can find, for comparison, right after the jump, as well as few images from the inside Vogue pictorial). Franca Sozzani’s Home

Actually I could only get my hands on two images from Franca Sozzani’s home and I admit, I envy the marveled photographer who had the chance to walk through Franca’s Marrakech home empire. It’s a daring voyage for anyone with a passion for style and fashion!

Franca, who has been the editor in chief of Vogue Italy for so many years and who has brought Vogue Italy on the forefront of the fashion revolution (I still hear people talking about her All Black issue!) is visibly a fashionista through and through. And even if her Marrakech home as pictured here doesn’t look like anything I’d call home, I’m so curious how the rest of her house looks like! And if anyone has any ideas where we could catch a glimpse at her Milan residence, please step forward! In the mean time, thank you Ivan Terestchenko for the images! Aren’t they something else?

Freja, Lara, Natalia Cover Vogue UK May 2011

If there was still doubt persisting in your mind that wedding is the new it, here’s Vogue UK ready to break those doubts! The May 2011 issue of British Vogue is sooooo bridal, it makes you wonder if they this wasn’t originally meant for a bridal magazine.

But no, Mario Testino‘s Wedding Belles as impersonated for the cover by Freja Beha Erichsen, Lara Stone and Natalia Vodianova look stunning, scared, nervous, unreal and well… tres bridal. Almost too bridal for my taste. How much more bridal are you willing you take? For the record – I’d rather see Freja as the Harry Winston bride, I don’t like Mario Testino‘s vision as much as smiling Freja! (more images as well as a short video right after the jump! click here for the gallery!) (Vogue via)

Pink Or White For The Wedding Dress. Reese Witherspoon Bridal Dilemma

Something has been on my mind for few days now and I still can’t get the real clear picture of it yet: Reese Witherspoon is now a married woman (again). She and her now husband Jim Toth shared their very special moment in a private ceremony but, as usual, the images came out.

And when they did, two different magazines covers presented each their version of the truth. Reese Witherspoon was ever so lovely and adorable in her wedding dress (and that bouquet is dreamy!). But what color was it, really? On the cover of Hello! there’s a smiling Reese in a snow white gown (carrying an equally immaculate roses bouquet) whereas on the cover of People Jim Toth kisses his bride, Reese, who is wearing a pale pink dress. (for the record – Reese Witherspoon was officially wearing a pale pink wedding dress from Monique Lhuillier). Will the real bride please stand up? (photos via)

Britney Spears Dolce & Gabbana Outfits For Femme Fatale Tour

It’s nearly impossible to browse the Interwebs and not see a picture of Britney Spears performing these days. Her Femme Fatale album is ready to drop and she’s working hard at promoting it.

Naturally, there will be an album tour associated with the launch and the Femme Fatale tour will also need costumes. And Brit Brit chose her designer carefully – she must aim for “popular” and so she went for Dolce & Gabbana, everyone’s favorite stage costumes designers! Not that I disagree / disapprove! I myself am a complete fan of their work for the D & G label! So here’s Britney Spears looking all Femme Fatale (ready) in Dolce & Gabbana. Also: notice that the modern vision of a Femme Fatale involves extensions and looking like a caged bird! (Dolce & Gabbana via)
