Reading the news, watching at the video (which you can watch right after the jump), watching it again and again and I still can’t believe my eyes! Versace for H & M? This is major fashion news! At least for the average fashpeople.
Donatella Versace was so impressed with the way the collection turned out that she actually chose a gold studded leather dress for her bow at the end of the Versace Men’s Collection which was just presented in Milan. I know this will make the rounds of the interwebs for days and days, so mark your calendars, fashionable ladies and gents, November 19th 2011 is the day the new Versace H & M collection will hit H & M stores around the world!
Florence Welch Will Wear Gucci For Concerts

Because designers couldn’t care less about what clothes celebrity wear, Gucci’s Frida Giannini has decided to dress Florence Welch from Florence and the Machine in Gucci for her stage performances.
I like Florence and I like her style. Also, the sketches below, are totally Florence, so I congratulate both her and Frida for the excellent style choice! Doesn’t it look better than Gaga’s pantless stage wardrobe? (via 1, 2)

Boy, does Tom Ford like starring in his own ads? Alongside Lara Stone, Tom Ford fronts the Tom Ford fall winter 2011 2012 Beauty Ad Campaign.
The pictures were taken by Mert and Marcus and show the glamour and the beauty as impersonated by the amazing Lara Stone. Isn’t it great to have her look like herself and not a pale copy of Brigitte Bardot or whoever else? And all she needed was a touch of Tom Ford! ha! (photos via)

I know you love a good Converse piece so there I go, with yet another collaboration between the iconic sneakers brand and Marimekko. The joyful prints, the happy colors, I’m sold!
Of course, we would have to wait till August to get pieces from the new Marimekko Converse collection, but my heart is already set on the black, white and gray Purcells. How about you? Any favorite pair already? (via)

Karlie Kloss, Caroline Trentini Bally Fall 2011 Ad Campaign

The awkward Bally Fall Winter 2011 2012 Ad Campaign is an odd remake of a sixties aesthetic. Karlie Kloss and Caroline Trentini try their best hand of the hip pose while pushing the bag and the shoes.
Warm and funky, the Steven Meisel photographed ad has a distinctively luxurious feeling and a subtle tackiness which I cannot overlook. Too bad for Karlie, I like her a lot, but this campaign is surely not my favorite this season. Am I wrong? (via)

Anna Wintour’s Style Advice

The Webby Awards? Are you (the least) familiar with it? At least from what the name tells us, it’s about the web. The Webby Awards, as given out by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Science take place every year since 1996.
Though slightly controversial and profit – based, the Webbies (which require fees both to entry the nominations and also to attend the ceremony) are famous for more than just the award attributing in itself: they’re also famous for the five words speeches! And from the legendary “Can anyone fix my computer?” acceptance speech from Bestie Boys to this year’s Anna Wintour’s speech, anything goes, as long as it’s contained in those magical five – words sentences!
Anna Wintour accepted the Webby Awards for Best Fashion Magazine website (Voguedotcom) with the words: “Sometimes, Geeks Can Be Chic!”. We hear you! And although we were already promoting that here, we hadn’t had the Wintour blessing! Now we do and we’re moving on, convinced that the Geek is Chic! Hurray for Geeks!
