Harajuku Lovers Tweezerman
July 15th, 2011 by kpriss
I loooove Tweezerman. And I think now I’m going to love them even more! Have you seen their latest collaboration? It’s all about Harajuku, baby!
Harajuku Lovers Tweezerman! I’m sure they’ll be an absolute bestseller! And the matching box of files? You can forget about using them, they just look so incredibly cute! Can be 15 all over again? (yes, I’m aware they’re not just for teens and tweens, but I feel uncomfortable saying and thinking “cute” so many times in just under 100 words!) And still. Aren’t they about the cutest tweezers and files you’ve ever seen? (via)
Angelina Jolie About Cambodia, Filming Between Landmines
July 14th, 2011 by kpriss
Ever since we found out that Angelina Jolie was going to represent Louis Vuitton in their latest Journeys ad campaign, we were curious to know more about it. About her and her relation with LV.
Now that Angelina’s campaign has been allover the place, the people at Louis Vuitton wanted to keep the buzz alive so they came out with a teaser – interview. Angelina Jolie talks about Cambodia and how it has affected her life. In short: landmines and filming a movie scenes don’t make good company. You can watch the teaser here (below a screen cap from the short interview).
Jennifer Aniston Before And After Plastic Surgery
July 14th, 2011 by kpriss
Dealing with constant pressure to look good, the vast majority of famous people breaks and use non / invasive plastic surgery to maintain or enhance their youthful looks.
We often asked ourselves whether this or that celebrity had used Botox or radically changed her / his appearance without specifically saying so. There are some who intervene in the hot gossip course denying any surgical implication on their looks (most recently, there’s the Megan Fox Botox dilemma). How about those who admit having had plastic surgery? Do they earn or lose respect after their confession? After the jump, you’ll find a video of Jennifer Aniston, admitting (sort of) to a nose job in an interview with the legendary James Lipton, Inside the Actors Studio.
Lara Stone In Lingerie For Calvin Klein Underwear Campaign
July 14th, 2011 by kpriss
While that may be something we, the fashpeople, may be used to seeing, Lara Stone wearing only lingerie in a 30 seconds video ad campaign for Calvin Klein could be a very interesting visual treat for outside fashion eyes.
Photographed by Patrick Demarchelier, the ad print campaign with Lara Stone for the Naked Glamour Calvin Klein underwear collection looks lovely, in a toned down sexuality styling, unlike the more aggressive kind we can find in Armani or Victoria’s Secret campaigns. And the same goes for the video commercial you’ll find after the jump!
I’m not aware of your tastes in lingerie, however, what I can tell you, based on my personal experience, is that Calvin Klein lingerie is truly outstandingly comfy and reliable. (speaking from someone whose lingerie drawer contains more VS than anything else – wink) (via)
Lea Seydoux’s Prada Candy Perfume Ad
July 14th, 2011 by kpriss
Are you excited for the new Prada fragrance? It sounds so joyful, and youthful! Candy! Prada Candy! And it’s looking funny too!
Rumor has it that the scent smells like musk and caramel, in a very passionate and impulsive fragrantic move from the house of Prada. I’m actually pretty curious about it and, as it turns out, pretty drawn to almost anything, everything Miuccia Prada does. The print ad is sustained by Lea Seydoux and the video ad should be about the Parisian Apache Dance. (what is that supposed to mean?) (wwd)
Helmut Lang Destroying His Fashion In The Name Of Art?
July 14th, 2011 by kpriss
What’s up with Helmut Lang? I found a little piece of news today saying that he was preparing a special exhibition with art creations made out of pieces from his fashion creations. Columns room – tall which are made from scraps of fabric, fur and leather formerly known as fashion collection pieces, from Helmut Lang’s collections.
I can understand and respect an individual who quits everything and anything because he found his / her life calling. However, from there to destroying his (previous) life work and turning it into little (or not so little) pieces for his / her new priority it seems dubious.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley’s Body. Burberry Body Perfume
July 14th, 2011 by kpriss
As it turns out, this is a magical year for Rosie Huntington Whiteley, the new Transformers sweetheart. Not only did she helped turning the third installment of the Michael Bay directed franchise into this summer’s undisputable box office king, now there she goes, returning to her usual modeling duties and unveiling what will most certainly become one of the most looked at billboard of the summer.
Burberry Body Perfume as fronted by Rosie was imagined by the Burberry people (and photographed by Mario Testino) as inviting enough to even make you take out your Burberry trench coat. Just to smell it better, of course. After all, it’s Burberry Body Perfume, you’re supposed to smell it off of somebody’s body. Right? Oh, and Rosie, I’m sure they wanted you for your brains, they just didn’t know how to say it! (via)
Anja Rubik’s Fendi Fall Winter 2011 2012 Ad Campaign
July 13th, 2011 by kpriss
Would you have recognized the model from this picture if I had not tell you who she was? Because although I like her features a lot and think she’s pretty outstanding, this makeover totally surprised me.
Karl Lagerfeld photographed this Fendi Fall Winter 2011 2012 ad campaign and I hold him entirely responsible for stripping Anja Rubik of her personality and uniqueness, thus transforming her in one of his clones. Oh, Anja, please save yourself! (via)
