Community’s Gillian Jacobs Is Maniac In September 2011

It’s the first time I hear about a magazine called Maniac! Shame on me! The reason I heard of it in the first place is because they had Britta on the cover! Wha? Britney? No-no-no-no honeyz! Don’t you watch Community? You do? Well, good for you, then! We do too and we looooove it!
Now, back to Maniac: Gillian Jacobs, aka Britta from Community covers the August September 2011 issue of Maniac. And that’s great! However, to my great surprise, although I was expecting a great inside pictorial, I discovered strange, strange pictures with Gillian. And that’s such a waste, she’s a funny, smart, great looking young woman! This could’ve been so much better! From where I stand, it all looks like a poor man’s Terry pictorial. It may sound surprising for some of you (including myself on numerous occasions), but people really look up to Anna dello Russo’s style and fashion representations! She’s a style icon for countless fashionistas whose most treasured dream is to have an apartment for their clothes only, just like Anna! Yay! La vie!
Anna dello Russo caught wind about the appeal she holds before the fashmasses and so she inked a lucrative deal with Macy’s which also involved designing clothes for a retail project! Anna Dello Russo’s clothing collection with Macy’s private label Inc will hit stores this September and it looks like this: (after the jump more images with Anna and Karolina Kurkova, trying to convince you that this is the new it look of the season! All that’s missing is the apartment to play wardrobe to it all!)

After seeing the Vogue pictures of Kate Moss wedding to Jamie Hince as taken by the one and only Mario Testino, do you even doubt for a second that her wedding will set the new wedding theme trend?
I don’t. Not for a blink! And did you actually know that her “theme” which is, biensur, not a theme, is Rock and Roll Great Gatsby? The other Kate’s wedding (yes, I’m talking about that Royal Wedding) is so yesterday right now? Ummm… so close your eyes and dream “Rock and Roll Great Gatsby!” like Kate said!

How awkward is that? Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard are no longer an item. A couple. However, when they signed up for the BlackBook job, they must have been together, otherwise this double cover would have made little if no sense at all. Like it does now.
I’ll be nice, wishing BlackBook Happy Anniversary, as this is a celebratory issue marking 15 years of BlackBook! (they say they adjusted the story inside, to detail the breakup instead of portraying the now non existent couple). Yeah. Still awkward though, wouldn’t you think?

Once a model always a model, you think? Catwalking around in high heels is not like riding a bike, it would appear! Balenciaga head designer, Nicolas Ghesquiere has opened up about the maison’s Spring 2011 fashion show, saying that he liked his models more than his shoes.
You either get the girls, or the heel, as Nicolas had Gisele Bundchen, Amber Valletta and Carolyn Murphy in for the fittings and refusing the high heels. What to do, what to do? he canceled the high heels from the show and entered what you may admire below. Everyone was delighted with the new shoes, models and critics alike! Trends by accident, huh?
