Jeremy Scott Was At Katy Perry’s Wild West Birthday Party
November 16th, 2011 by kpriss
You know I love a good costume! A good, funny costume is even better! Putting on a costume is always fun and brings out so much of yourself you wouldn’t normally put out there. For everyone to see.
I mean that in a figurative way, biensur! Like, for instance, Heidi dressing up like a Monkey for this Halloween? How often do we get to see Heidi actually jumping up and down and monkey – ing around? Or her skinless costume? How often do we get to see Heidi so covered and yet so uncovered? I hope you got my idea of wearing a costume. Just the other day, Katy Perry was out celebrating her 27th birthday with a great party: cowboys and Indians for a Wild Wild West theme!

Morena Baccarin’s My Week With Marilyn Premiere Disaster
November 15th, 2011 by kpriss
While the teens of the world are engaged elsewhere (read the Twilight premiere of Breaking Dawn’s first part), My Week With Marilyn was also released in movie theaters for a Red Carpet premiere.
Alongside Michelle Williams, her co stars posed at the festive event. Clearly standing out among them was the lovely Morena Baccarin (you may be familiar with her from a handful of TV series: Firefly, V and, recently, Homeland). Morena looked perfect! From head to her knees! Because after that, a full flavored fashion disaster occurred! Morena’s ethereal cream-ish dress was no match for those black boots she had on! Morena, darling, whoever is your stylist needs a permanent vacation!

Versace Has Put On A Show For H & M
November 15th, 2011 by kpriss
Just in case you missed it, the Versace for H & M fashion show! It’s a perfect picture of what fashion is about today: money, logos, celebrity. Be as loud as possible and chances are people will see a trend setter in you!
I think I can only stomach two or three pieces from this much coveted Versace H & M collection, so I just sit tight and wait for the madness to consume itself. Just in case you’re among those who think loud is good: just because someone is willing to walk around dressed like a stage parrot doesn’t make him / her fashionable. It only makes people get tired of him / her faster. (the pieces I like are after the jump. Which ones do you like?)
Definition Of Fashion. After Daphne Guinness
November 15th, 2011 by kpriss
I always try to look at fashion with a relaxed, emptied head. And my ideal vision of fashion is always about fun and joyful things, colorful sets and bright moods.
One of the world’s most renowned fashionistas, Daphne Guinness, heiress extraordinare and eccentric par excellence is looking at fashion from a very interesting perspective. Daphne is all for the pin down. In time, in place. Noblesse oblige, I guess:
“Fashion is not just about trends. It’s about political history. You can trace it from the ancient Romans to probably until the ’80s, and you can see defining moments that were due either to revolutions or changes in politics… But now we’ve been feeding on a sort of cadaver. At the moment, we’re just endlessly recycling the past.
There hasn’t been anything real since grunge. That was the last movement led by music or an art form.”

Kristen Stewart’s Leg Slit In Sequined J Mendel Dress For Breaking Dawn Premiere
November 15th, 2011 by kpriss
Talking about Angelina Jolie reminded me of something Kristen Stewart worn for the world premiere of Twilight’s Breaking Dawn Part 1. Remember those dramatic leg slit dresses Angelina was wearing over and over on the Red Carpet?
Well, Kristen was all dramatically glamorous in a sequined blue and black dress from J. Mendel Spring Summer 2012. The dress, with a serious leg slit, complimented Kristen’s skin tone and blue eyes. Her black manicure and pedicure helped in completing the look, finished with sky high black platforms and heavy smokey eyes. Looking all grown up, eh, Kristen? Angelina Jolie In Red Dress Looking Great
November 14th, 2011 by kpriss
Look who’s getting her Christmas Mood on and out on display! Angelina Jolie joined her partner at one of his movies premiere, in Japan. Brad Pitt’s Moneyball Red Carpet has never looked so red! And beautiful! Angelina was there at his arm, wearing a simple red dress matched with her favorite beige patent pumps and some seriously red lips and nails.
The thing I liked the most about Angelina, this time (besides her beautiful smile, biensur), was that she looked like she has put on a few pounds. Not too much, but at least she’s not as scary thin as I remembered her. Is she?
Hermes For Your Table
November 14th, 2011 by kpriss
This is one of those Inbox goodies – Hermes’s newsletter contained this overload of table gorgeousness – Hermes plates?
Were you familiar with this fine line of tableware coming from your favorite orange label? Hermes never ceases to amaze me! What I thought would be a nice passing note on luxury and style turned out to be a heavy topic since Hermes has an entire table section on their online boutique. I kept clicking away, looking through every item, being more and more swept off of my feet by the beauty of the objects and the delicacy of the details!
