The Louis Vuitton LV Condom. Real Or Fake?
December 9th, 2011 by kpriss
Though this may just be one of those LV fanatics dreams came true, the Louis Vuitton condom is said to be in no way affiliate with the actual Louis Vuitton label.
It’s the product of an architect from Georgia, Irakli Kiziria who intends to launch the so called “LV product” to benefit the Foundation for AIDS Research. Although a noble initiative, I’m certain that neither these pictures nor whoever tries to spread the word will get away for more than a couple of days. The LV people will get word about this LV condom thing and they’ll ask us all to (at least) take the pictures down. So consider yourselves warned and do take advantage of this while it lasts! The LV condom, my daaahlings, is priced at $68! Enjoy! (evil laugh)
Carey Mulligan’s W January 2012
December 9th, 2011 by kpriss
I really wanted to bring this Carey Mulligan piece as fast as I could, to help us get over that Lindbergh photoshoot that seems to be every magazine’s favorite right now. Carey is lovely on the cover of W magazine, January 2012.
And the inside pictorial is far from being disappointing, although in a less surprising key than what I’d expect from W magazine. The pictures try to capture some kind of high drama spiced with 60s theatrical sadness, all carefully orchestrated by Michael Thompson’s lenses and Edward Enninful’s styling. Carey is lovely, though – and that picture of hers with the squirrel chipmunk on the shoulder is plain adorable! You have to click through to see it!

Lanvin’s Dancing Holidays 2011 Ad Campaign
December 8th, 2011 by kpriss
Don’t you just love it when the entire world is getting festive and the celebration is under everyone’s skin? I do! Christmas time is my favorite time of the year. Okay. Except summer time. But that’s another story.
Lanvin has issued another one of those dancing ads. I’m loving it! And I’m not saying that just because everyone in the house loves the Xbox (you may find that surprising, if you weren’t familiar with the concept already – but Lanvin’s fall winter 2011 2012 ad campaign was based on an Xbox Kinect game – Dance Central – this Holidays video too is filled with Dance Central moves)! I’m saying it (also) because it’s fun, it’s colorful and an enjoyable fashionable experience through and through (anyone else having “The Mannequin” déjà vu?)
Katherine Heigl In Pink Sequined Dress For Cosmopolitan UK January 2012
December 8th, 2011 by kpriss
And here’s one of those “déjà vu” covers with Katherine Heigl! (after that Elle cover of her from a couple of days back I found out why she’s everywhere, all of a sudden – New Year’s Eve! The new starflooded movie which is supposed to top Love Actually. Yeah, like that will ever happen!)
Festively dressed in a pink sequined mini dress, smiling bright, Katherine is the very picture of partying, and having a good season’s time. (too bad about the cover tagline… Maybe not the best part of the interview to highlight for a Christmas issue?)

What’s In Chloe’s Sevigny’s Closet?
December 8th, 2011 by kpriss
Because I’m constantly thinking of new and improved ways to keep you entertained, I’m sure this is one of those perfect opportunities to get the thrill of both fashion and celebrity, enjoying the informative process.
How was that for an introduction? I could hardly bring myself around to say nice things about Chloe Sevigny’s closet. Especially fully knowing how I feel about her dressing ways! The girl is a walking fashion disaster most of the times, so glorifying her wardrobe could raise serious suspicions about my styleintegrity. Not the case, not the case! Chloe Sevigny, my daaahlings, is offering us a guided tour of her closet! Because she knows how much we love her sense of style! (wink)

Christian Louboutin’s Spring Summer 2012 Shoes Collection
December 8th, 2011 by kpriss
Yes, I’m fully aware of the season, and no, this is not meant to tease you in any way! I love Christmas and the joy it brings, the snowmen and the ice skating, it’s all me! But then again, I also love the spring, the entire world awakening and preparing for the warm, sensuous summer with warm, sandy beaches and foamy waves!
And fierce stilettos, awesome platform sandals, dreamy peep toe pumps and .. well, you know, if Santa would really want to spoil the world’s fashionistas, he’d bring them at least one pair of Louboutins each Christmas! So it’s that time of the year: make a wish, maybe it’ll come true? Add a picture of Christian Louboutin’s Spring Summer 2012 shoes collection (I’m sorry, I couldn’t make up my mind and choose just one pair, I love them all!) and then wait for it to be shipped all the way from the cold, white North Pole. (yeah, right!) Come on, it’s me, you can tell me?! Aren’t they drop dead gorgeous? All of them Louboutins?
Karl Lagerfeld’s Affordable Collection, Karl, Launches Online January 25
December 8th, 2011 by kpriss
Because a fashion designer has a lot of time on his / her hands, Karl Lagerfeld has joined Europe’s biggest tech conference, Le Web, to talk about (what else) his upcoming fashion label / collection. Symbolically named “Karl”, the new brand is supposed to be a more affordable approach of Karl Lagerfeld’s fashion, seriously spiced with leather and rock’n’roll charm. (although judging from the video alone, with no other information to tie things together, I’d swear it was a shampoo ad!)
Although not much was revealed about the actual collection, Karl Lagerfeld did say he carries 4 iPhones, 20 to 30 iPads and numerous iPods with him. On all times. (whaaa?). Oh, anyway, we know as much as $236, the price of a Karl leather jacket (the collection will sell exclusively online)! And we also know this: “We will make fashion and technology history.”. Consider yourselves warned!

Angelina Jolie’s Amazing Pictures From Marie Claire January 2012
December 8th, 2011 by kpriss
I’m absolutely amazed! Marie Claire has an outstanding pictorial of Angelina Jolie in their January 2012 issue, something I wouldn’t saw coming not in a gazillion fashyears!
Photographed by Alexei Hay (although I could be easily convinced that she photographed herself like shown in the pictures), Marie Claire’s pictorial reminds me of an good – ol’ times Angelina, the rebel, the raw girl who wasn’t hiding underneath think layers of humanitarian issues and Goodwill initiatives. But I guess being a mother can do that to a usually highly provocative and pretty explicit woman. (come one, click through to see how amazingly beautiful she is! You may jump directly to the gallery here; don’t miss the extra video, at the end to discover two secrets about Angelina!)
