Calvin Klein Underwear’s New Ad Campaign: Confident, Strong, Sexy

One of the best underwear I ever had the pleasure of wearing was from Calvin Klein. (no offense Victoria’s Secret! You know I love you deeply!) As such, I was very interested in their new ad campaign.
The concept evolves on three coordinates: Calvin Klein Confident, Calvin Klein Strong and Calvin Klein Sexy. All three videos are the team work of Calvin Klein’s team and stylist’s Annabel Tollman (who guides us through all three videos). My favorite of them all is, of course, “confident”. It just describes me better. I think. So I’ll add it here, for your consideration. (the other two can be watched here: do share – what’s your style? And have you found “your” label?)
Badgley Mischka’s Dream Wedding

We’ve heard the details of Isaac Mizrahi’s wedding, now it’s time of yet another glamorous Designer Wedding! Mark Badgley and James Mischka! Yes, the powerful designer duo behind Badgley Mischka!
Did you know they were college sweethearts? And that their dream wedding location is Locust Valley and that their wedding first dance would be “I Want to Hold your Hand” by Petula Clark? Or that their rings would be engraved on the inside with “Put me back on”? Their wedding theme would be The Great Gatsby with magnolia leaves and blossoms centerpieces, serving The Gatsby cocktail or that they’d spent their honeymoon in Montenegro? Be still, fashionista’s hearts! This is Badgley and Mischka’s dream wedding! To my understanding, it didn’t happen yet! Though we wish them blessings and many happy years together if it’ll happen one day!
Katie Holmes Cruise In Bathing Suit For Jewelry Ads

Katie Holmes advertises for H. Stern Jewelry. Fact. Katie Holmes wears diamonds paved gold jewelry on the beach in those said ads. Fact. Katie Holmes wears a bathing suit in those said ads. Fact. Katie Holmes has exactly the same smirk, ahem smile in all three images of the campaign. Fact. Other than that we all agree that Katie is a beautiful woman and those ads are gorgeous. For a Sports Illustrated issue! (fact)
Christian Louboutin Makes Shoes For The Crazy Horse

French artists (especially the cabaret dancers) are so fancy, they can’t dance around except wearing Christian Louboutin shoes! Oh, la la! Christian Louboutin teamed up with Crazy Horse for a special “Desirs” show (from March 5 to May 31, nightly) and he’s making red soles shoes for those involved in the artistic process.
The designer is working with Patricia Folly, dancer and choreographer who is more known under the stage name “Psycho” for four scenes from the show – which will be renamed “Fire” after 60 years of being known as “Desirs”. Now I get it why those Crazy Horse girls don’t wear tops on stage! They were saving for Louboutins! Ha!

Now this was on my desktop for weeks, trying to squeeze it in. And today I finally decided to let myself go with it and write about it! (ah, the courage! – wink – )
(here I initially inserted this huge paragraph about our Adored Home – wink – but then I said to myself maybe you won’t be interested in reading that, so I moved it after the jump! Fell free to enjoy it after the fist image!) So this is Sofia Coppola’s New York Apartment. Or so I read. The images I put together here come from more than just one photo shoot so that’s why you’ll see Sofia dressed in more than one outfit, with hair not as long in all photographs! Beyond artsy and fancy, there’s always fashion! And as far as I’m concerned, the best ad campaign for the Spring Summer 2012 is royally served by Roberto Cavalli!
Some of the most beautiful women in the world (at least as far as fashion’s horizon in concerned) gather to celebrate Roberto Cavalli’s SS 2012 by posing for Steven Meisel. (whenever, wherever you have more than 3 models to shoot, you have to hire Steven Meisel! Only his lenses can capture true Fashion Royalty!) Naomi Campbell! Kristen McMenamy! Karen Elson! And Daphne Groeneveld as the newcomer! Work it ladies! (when I grow up I want to Kristen McMenamy! This campaign makes me proud to be over 30, being a mom, and growing out my gray hair!)
Jason Wu Collection Available At Target This February!

If there is one (young) designer from whom I’d be honored to buy and have clothing in my personal wardrobe, it would be Mr. Jason Wu! His aesthetics is very feminine, modern, simple yet sophisticated. I could definitely hang a painting on my wardrobe’s wall somewhere reading “I heart Jason Wu” plus the trademark owl.
Yeah, so getting back to reality – my only change to purchase something designed by Jason Wu is hitting the Target stores starting February 5th when Jason Wu for Target collection goes live! With prices ranging from $19,99 – $59, Target is the place for me! Check out the amazingly wearable and adorably chic collection below!
