Agyness Deyn, The New Model On Film With Role In Pusher

Although it’s not her most glamorous role ever, Agyness Deyn is trying her acting card by playing a certain kind of dancer (the pole genre) in Pusher. One suggestive image has been “leaked” to the Interwebs, showing Agyness’s character, Flo, in her workplace. Oh, Demi Moore, come show them how it’s done! (oh, where are my manners? Welcome to the Models on Film club, Agyness!)

Paris Hilton is shedding her trademark pink – ish look, not just her pink Bentley Continental worryingly similar to Nicki Minaj’s one. However, notoriously wig wearer Nicki Minaj could have something to say about Paris wearing a wig this time! (I cannot, for the life of me, imagine Paris going through such radical hair change!) Interesting. Let’s see what they’ll do next!

For the side, for back, you have to twist (and pin) your hair if you want to mingle in the (hair)trend pack this year! I was already suspecting this when I tried to perfect my twisted (fake) fringe this fall, but now I’m exercising more than ever! I think it’s because everyone is secrety dreaming of curled hair. The tamed kind (wink).

Christina Aguilera goes back to Marie Claire. After her sans clothes cover in 2008, Christina’s February 2012 comeback is all about sans secrets! The Voice coach is trying to assure us that she loves her body and that her boyfriend loves her body too.

If she’s fine with it, we sure are! It’s her body after all! I just don’t understand why she accepted being thinned by Marie Claire for this issue. Since everyone was so fine with her body and all? I know I may sound a bit unprofessional (ha!), but when did this become trendy? When did this become a sign of utter fashion and shining style? In my days (ha! again), those pants would’ve been labeled “unfit”, and the rest.. well, elegantly put – “unmatched”. Oh, fashion, where are you going now?

If I favor Emma Stone for her natural beauty and effortless style (and for her unexpected green tux), I definitely praise Vanessa Hudgens for the elegant yet quirky choice of dress at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards ceremony.

The black sheer Jenny Packham dress with golden spider web embroidery looked amazing on her, although being visibly more petite than the catwalk model (on which the dress looked breathtakingly beautiful), Vanessa managed to look great and made a wonderful style impression on me. What happened to Kristen Bell’s hair stylist? Was he / she taken for the night so Kristen couldn’t do otherwise but walk the 2012 People’s Choice Awards Red Carpet with terrible bed hair do?

If one thing, we can safely declare she’s either dressed by the same stylist Ashley Greene consulted for the event, or that lace and leather dresses are the next big thing on the Red Carpet! Kristen Bell’s red Valentino dress wasn’t all bad. It’s maybe the hair or the awful makeup. Or a handful of reasons why Kristen didn’t hit the style jackpot for the night. Oh, and what’s up with those pointed metal toes nude Loboutins? Just because metal toes are in, doesn’t mean you have to pair them with anything, does it?

Miley meets trendy. That’s how I’d define Miley Cyrus white apron dress for 2012 People’s Choice Awards! White, with sheer cutouts, David Koma’s dress as worn by Miley Cyrus looked at least as uncomfortable as Miley face hinted it to be.

I’m not sure what the pointed stilettos were doing in the ensemble, but Miley definitely wanted to prove her grownup fashion to us. Regardless of the style consequences. Although Miley is too young to even have a personal style. It’s all about showing off right now (and she’s doing just that right now, you can convince yourselves in the gallery, here). She does have a preference for white-ish gowns, doesn’t she?
