Rihanna’s Armani Black Dress For 2012 Grammy Awards
February 12th, 2012 by kpriss
Wearing black was de rigueur at the 2012 Grammy Awards. Here’s Rihanna wearing a custom made Giorgio Armani black dress on the Grammy Awards Red Carpet (which was foreseeable since Rihanna is the current spokesperson for Armani Jeans and Armani Underwear Ad Campaigns) . She seems so confident and that enhances her already stunning natural beauty!
Oh, and I also love her wavy, frizzy hair! It’s daring on the Red Carpet, when almost everyone out there blasts curly hair – like we should all run and hide our curly heads – I wonder if that isn’t envy, really! Forget blow dry & flattening the life out of your waves! Curly hair is beautiful! Look at Rihanna! Well done girl! You show them! (oh, and, after the jump, check out the back of her dress! Aaaah – maaaazing! that gown fits her like a glove!)
Lily Aldridge’s Baby Bump At The 2012 Grammy Awards
February 12th, 2012 by kpriss
So ironic, huh? The 2012 Grammy Awards took place just a day after Whitney Houston’s death. I will not let myself drown in sorrow, like I said before, thus I’ll open this Grammy sequence with talk about new life!
Lily Aldridge, pregnant and glowing, so beautiful, so elegant! Attending the 2012 edition of the Grammy Awards, pregnant Lily Aldridge accompanied her husband, Caleb Followill (Kings of Leon frontman). She looked lovely as always; no, actually double that! She was twice as lovely as she was glowing for two (wink)! Wasn’t she?

Did Marc Jacobs Give Up Wearing Skirts?
February 12th, 2012 by kpriss
I’ve been meaning to show you this photo – it may be relevant for Fashion Week! You never know what’s coming with Mac Jacobs and his upcoming collection – so this may just as well be a hint of what’s coming on the catwalk!
And that’s a rare opportunity for us, mere fashmortals! Marc Jacobs was seen attending an official event (the opening of a commercial gallery) wearing the below photographed outfit. If he wasn’t a fashion designer, I would’ve easily blasted this as “what was he thinking” kind of outfit. Only I can’t do that. He’s a designer, hence he’s au courant with everything and anything that goes on in fashionland more than me. Or you. Or so many others. Which brings me to a very normal, visually justified, logically founded question: what’s the message Marc Jacobs is trying to send to the fashion crowd? (what do you think he’s trying to say through his outfit? Is this the FW 12-13 must wear?)
Dare To Wear A Piece Of Heidi Klum’s Halloween Costume?
February 12th, 2012 by kpriss
Do you remember Heidi Klum’s Halloween Costume? The “Visible Woman” one? With exposed muscles and all? I found it pretty creepy, although extremely well done and Halloween appropriate.
However, if there are fans of the said costume out there who want to plan their next Halloween costume early on, here’s a piece of Heidi’s costume. Somewhat! Black Milk Clothing has thought of a clever print for one of their leggings: exposed muscles leggings. Would you wear such leggings, outside of Halloween, that is? (Black Milk Clothing via)
Whitney Houston, I Will Always Love You!
February 12th, 2012 by kpriss
Although it may sound like a cliché, I will Always Love You, Whitney! R.I.P! It’s amazing – one day everything is fine, I’m away from my desk for one day and…
I remember someone said once, explaining to a wee kid, that people aren’t dead, when they die – they just go on an island somewhere. Whitney Houston went on a journey, yesterday, to that very island! Somewhere around 4PM, February 11th 2012, Whitney we all knew and loved was pronounced dead.
Kate Moss Good Vs Bad W Magazine March 2012 Covers
February 10th, 2012 by kpriss
The Queen is back! Bow down! This is the best (double) magazine cover I’ve seen in a loooong time! Kate Moss doing W Magazine’s March 2012 issue as The Good Kate and as The Bad Kate!
It’s too intense to put it in words, so I’ll just slip the cover photos below, few images after the jump and let the visuals do the work! The flawless photography and the impeccable styling were signed by Steven Klein and Edward Enninful respectively. I’m overwhelmed! Kate truly is one of a kind and whoever put this project in motion has my absolute admiration and respect! Fashion, like it’s supposed to be! Enjoy! (more images here)
Zara Wedding Dress. For Zara’s Heiress, Marta Ortega!
February 10th, 2012 by kpriss
This is actually nice! I mean she’s the daughter of Spain’s richest man, the very founder of Inditex (father company of Zara), Amancio Ortega, and Marta Ortega wants a wedding dress from Zara on her special day!
She could’ve had any wedding dress in the world, after all, she’s worth $31 Billion! But no, passionate horse rider Marta Ortega will be a Zara bride! Congratulations to the young couple (Marta is getting married to Sergio Alvarez, her longtime boyfriend and fellow equestrian), blessings and happiness in their new life! (the date for the very intimate ceremony is set on February 18th ). Although official reports deny any future bridal line from Zara, the future is not yet written!
Giant Poster With David Beckham’s Body… Wear
February 10th, 2012 by kpriss
I was afraid something like this may happen! I don’t know if the H & M guys insisted on imitating Emporio Armani’s campaign by putting a giant poster of David Beckham in underwear in plain urban sight or it’s (who knows?) David’s special pleasure! Either way:
Manhattan’s 34th street is enjoying a special mural add-on: a painted replica of David Beckham’s H & M Bodywear Ad Campaign photo. Which, conveniently, doesn’t include t-shirts or any other clothing item other than a pair of white trunks. Which costs $14.95. Notice the price tag placement, as well as the H & M tag. Why would that be ?… (wink)
