After working hard, studying even harder, it would be time to praise. Prabal Gurung’s Fall Winter 2012 2013 Collection looks like a church – and – back kind of wardrobe with a restrained repertoire of black, blue and white looks. Not to mention the Givenchy-esques influences like the one below! Better start praying, Prabal, your next season needs a serious infusion of originality after this! (the entire collection here)

This is great! And I’m not saying it just because it’s Adele and I love her to pieces! But because on Vogue’s US March 2012 Cover is a British singer and on Vogue’s UK March 2012 Cover is an American singer (Lana del Rey)! I’m amazed! The little coincidences making life even more interesting than it already is! (although I have my doubts that the two editions don’t know what they’re planning months ahead)

Adele, as photographed by Mert and Marcus, looks thinner than I remembered her. However, I don’t know if I should cast the stone at the Photoshop – people or take a better, closer look at Adele as she appeared last night at the 2012 edition of the Grammy Awards – after all, she’s been through a difficult surgery… (more images after the jump; check out the gallery here)

It would appear that the Red Carpet trend we talked about previously has caught up with the British Events fashion. I just swept through some of the images reporting the 2012 BAFTA Awards arrivals and noticed two gorgeous ladies wearing white!

Kristen Wiig and Tilda Swinton were the proud representatives of the white trend! And, judging by the few images I found, it would appear that Tilda Swinton’s Celine white dress is the winner! Kriste Wiig’s Alberta Ferretti white dress looks so much like the dress worn by Angelina Jolie at the Golden Globes, I couldn’t applaud her even if this dress is much better than what Kristen had on for past events! Tilda really is fierce and fashionable!

It’s easy to dress Jessica Chastain with a Grecian style dress! She really looks like a goddess! The sparkling silver Oscar de la Renta dress (from the pre-fall 2012 collection) complimented Jessica’s complexion and natural beauty and enhanced her glow. More and more I get the feeling Jessica Chastain must come from the same planet as Cate Blanchett! I can’t see any other justification for their surreal glow! Do you?

Have you seen the beautiful Octavia Spencer at the 2012 BAFTA Awards? The ceremony took place yesterday, February 12, in London. Octavia looked incredible in black and white Tadashi Shoji – I loved the simplicity of the combination (the feathered black skirt is from Tadashi Shoji’s Fall 2011 collection) perfectly matching Octavia’s natural elegance. And I loved her smile, above all! Congratulations for her win: Octavia Spencer has been awarded with the Best Supporting Actress trophy for her role in The Help.

We all know Adam Levine’s girlfriend, Anne Vyalitsyna, is a Victoria’s Secret model. And we’ve all seen her strut her wonderful body on Victoria’s Secret catwalk (remember that Heidi and Seal moment they shared at Victoria’s Secret’s parade last year?).

Well, if there was anyone out there who didn’t know Anne V. and what she does for a living, it’s highly possible that they have no doubts now, after the 2012 Grammy Awards Red Carpet! Anne’s V black dress could hardly be described as a dress and more like a more elaborate swimsuit! Why, oh why?
UPDATE: Here’s a possible reason: the dress is an Anthony Vacarello dress (the Spring Summer 2012 collection), currently a stylists & magazines favorite (Gwyneth wore something similar in a recent Harper’s Bazaar pictorial)

So here’s a little bit of color on the 2012 Grammy Awards Red Carpet. Fergie was wearing a very orange lace dress from Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2012 Couture collection. It’s nice to see Fergie again, and it’s even nicer to see her wearing Jean Paul Gaultier.

You could say that she was wearing black too (wink) – it’s not like she had hidden her lingerie, or something! I’m thinking that matching the particularly bright dress with the particularly golden, chunky jewelry make her a hard – to – ignore presence on the Red Carpet. Fergie was very Fergie-licious tonight at the Grammy Awards. Was that good? Given the circumstances?
