Lady Gaga, my dahlings, is going under the radar. With no particular explanation or project in mind, other than laying low, Lady Gaga has announced that she’s taking a break. Part of that initiative, I imagine, this photo of hers, sans makeup, is making the rounds of the internet. Because, biensur, Lady Gaga was born this way.

Chop – chop! Victoria Beckham’s long hair only lasted as long as the baby fat on her body – as soon as she got it all off, off with the hair too! Check out Victoria Beckham’s new haircut! It’s pretty much like her old bob, only longer, darker and… more stylish! (can I tell you a secret? I have pretty much the same haircut: only my hair is curly and the chop was executed by moi)

Last week, we talked about Kate Moss participating in a comedy sketch for Sport Relief 2012. This week it’s about Lara Stone and Rosie Huntington – Whiteley playing a part in Sport Relief 2012. They were both photographed by Alasdair McLellan for the March 23 2012 edition of Britain’s The Independent.

The issue was actually edited by Lara Stone’s husband, British comedian David Walliams and the inside featured list counts the two beauties from the cover, Simon Cowell, Bill Gates, Brian May and so many others. The inside images are just as charming and as refreshing as the cover, take a look after the jump! I wish David Walliams could guest – edit one of Vogue UK’s issues! He’ll deliver a really fresh perspective on all fashion things, I’m sure!

I was afraid Marion Cotillard won’t do another season advertising for Christian Dior, especially after the last Hollywood extravaganza that was her last campaign.

I’m happy I was wrong: Marion Cotillard continues to represent the Lady Dior bags with another exciting story: a spy game, infiltrating the Communist Party Headquarters in Paris. Peter Lindbergh’s photo shows Oscar Niemeyer’s iconic building ceiling, a perfect match for the new Lady Dior crocodile and raffia bag. Unusual combination, but truly aesthetically efficient. The campaign is slated to go live in May magazines.

Remember we talked about H & M going high glam with a new Conscious Collection this April? The Red Carpet dresses included in the said collection are part of a bigger picture. Rumor has it that H & M is launching a luxury brand. For the moment, the rumor hasn’t been confirmed by the Swedish giant retailer – maybe they’ll reveal something at the launch of the Exclusive Glamour collection?

What was I saying? That we don’t see enough of Kate Moss lately? Well, it would appear that today we’ll have enough of Kate Moss for a while! Vogue Eyewear new Spring Summer 2012 ad campaign features none the other but the beautiful Kate Moss. Because all the other models were already booked, duh!

But I’m not complaining, after all! The pictures were taken by Mario Testino, the sunglasses look interesting enough and I admit I’ve been scrolling up and down their website for some optical frames for kids (remember, two of our kids wear corrective eyeglasses). And, although the Vogue eyewear website isn’t generous in information at all, I managed to find at least one item I liked! So you see, Kate Moss was convincing enough for me as to go browse Vogue’s eyewear website, hence, La Moss worked her marketing magic once again! Carine Roitfeld’s magazine is this fall’s most exciting editorial happening. After her Vogue departure, many rumors have circulated about Carine’s various upcoming projects. However, as busy as she’s keeping with styling this and that shooting for this and that fashion magazine, Carine Roitfeld is going for her very own magazine.

With a September issue. Rumor has it, that Carine’s won’t be a regular magazine, mind you! It’s going to be more like a book about “fashion with a lot of freedom”. Spending too much time with Purple’s Olivier Zahm, eh, Carine? (there she is with a giant book in her arms, her very own Irreverent. Wonder if her magazine is anything like this one?)

Did you know that Alberta Ferretti has worked on a collaboration with Macy’s? And that it’s going to hit stores soon? The first images from Alberta Ferretti’s Macy’s collection have just hit the internet and they’re nothing short of fabulous!

Actually, that blue dress is definitely one to write down on my favorite summer dresses list! The campaign was photographed by Ellen von Unwerth with a little help from Mariacarla Boscono who is breathtakingly beautiful! And very European, might I add! Great choice to represent the spirit of Alberta Ferretti. (ah, sigh! That blue dress! Definitely wanting!)
