Emma Stone In Red Lanvin Dress For Met Gala 2012
May 7th, 2012 by kpriss
As always, a pleasure! Emma Stone arrived with Alber Elbaz at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala 2012. And she was as pretty as a flower! (which could also be because of the flowers on her dress? Thousands, literally, thousands of flowers on Emma Stone’s red Lanvin dress!)
Emma was a perfect match for Lanvin’s youthful, playful spirit and I’m happy she wore Alber Elbaz’ design. The hair complimented the look and with the exception of a black hair diadem, Emma kept her style minimal. And she was a stunner! And regardless of what any – fashion – body could say about her and her dress, Emma Stone was on my Met Gala 2012 Best Dressed list! (just look at the two how cute they were on the Red Carpet here!) Beyonce In Black And Indigo Givenchy Couture Dress For Met Gala 2012
May 7th, 2012 by kpriss
One of the most expected guests who arrived really, really late at the Met Gala 2012 was none the other than Beyonce! In true Diva style, Beyonce was wearing a show stopping dress signed Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy Haute Couture. With a serious makeover.
It’s a dress that won’t go unnoticed, pretty much in Beyonce’s figure hugging signature style, flamboyant and hardly wearer – friendly. It’s going to be interesting to see where the fashion reports will place Beyonce’s dress for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala 2012. (as for me, I’m having a hard time placing Beyonce in the Prada camp, so I guess she’d be representing for Schiaparelli?) (take a closer look at the gallery here!)(photos via)

Gwyneth Paltrow In Prada Short Dress For Met Gala 2012
May 7th, 2012 by kpriss
Another stunning appearance at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala 2012 was, without any shadow of a doubt, Gwyneth Paltrow. But then again, Gwyneth is always stunning, isn’t she?
This time, she was on the Prada side of the Impossible Conversations story, with a light gray Prada short dress. Short is a way of putting it, actually, as the back of the dress was longer than the front. What really matters is that, although wearing a risqué gown, Gwyneth looked impeccable – I loved the earrings and the shoes! (take a closer look in the gallery here!)(photos via)
Karolina Kurkova In Rachel Zoe Shiny Dress For Met Gala 2012
May 7th, 2012 by kpriss
I’ve been watching the Red Carpet arrivals for this edition of the Costume Institute Met Gala 2012 and I have one person that’s completely stuck in my head: Karolina Kurkova. Have you seen her dress? Can you believe it’s a Rachel Zoe dress? I can’t! All I see is a look heavily inspired by what Kate Moss was wearing at the Met Gala’s 2009 edition (the Model as Muse).
Remember when she turned up wearing that silver wrap on her head? Pretty much like Karolina Kurkova did tonight? Rachel Zoe should’ve known better. Anyway, Karolina was one of the most glamorous Red Carpet appearances tonight. The posture, the smile, very professional! But how do you feel about this dress? (you can take a closer look in the gallery here!) (photos via)
Carey Mulligan’s Shiny Prada Dress For Met Gala 2012
May 7th, 2012 by kpriss
It’s hard to describe what Carey Mulligan is wearing with just a handful of simple words. One thing’s certain, though: it’s a Prada dress. And it’s pretty much like the sun (and the moon) stepped down for this special event! Glamorous and beaming, Carey Mulligan is really gorgeous in Prada, embodying the spirit (or at least the Prada half of it – wink) of this Metropolitan Museum or Art’s Costume Institute Gala 2012: Impossible Conversations.
This is the first time she graced the Red Carpet since her wedding, isn’t it? I can’t tell if it’s the bride glow or the Prada glow – what say you? (photos via)

Anna Wintour’s White Prada Dress For Met Gala 2012
May 7th, 2012 by kpriss
Although a little bird was whispering something about wearing pink tonight (at least her Vogue editors were supposedly commanded to do so), Anna Wintour looks flawless in white Prada dress (paired with white fur cape). I’m actually happy she didn’t turn out on the pink side, this is something more in the key of Wintour, isn’t it? Fabulous, fascinating woman!
Anna brought along her daughter, Bee Shaffer for this glamorous event and she’s looking lovely herself, dressed in an Erdem long blue gown. Anna Wintour is tonight’s co – chairman of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Impossible Conversation event, alongside Miuccia Prada and Carey Mulligan. (photos via)
Kate Moss New Favorite Boots: UGGs
May 7th, 2012 by kpriss
I can’t believe my eyes! Literally! Fashion’s golden model, Kate Moss (who is, coincidentally also on Vogue UK’s cover this month) has been recently photographed out and about wearing an interesting pair of black boots.
The boots in question look oddly similar to a pair of UGG boots. You know, the kind of boots banned by all style standards from fashionista’s wardrobes! Kate Moss approved the UGGs! Yaaay!
Valeria Bilello’s Giorgio Armani Code Luna Perfume Ad Campaign
May 7th, 2012 by kpriss
Giorgio Armani loves his actresses! Megan Fox keeps on representing the house’s Beauty segment while a new perfume, Code Luna, has been launched with Valeria Bilello, an Italian actress, as its spokesperson (the print campaign material was photographed by Paolo Roversi).
Watching the video commercial (find it right after the jump), I’m having a hard time understanding if Valeria is the Moon or just hypnotized by it; the soundtrack doesn’t help clearing the situation either (La Roux In For The Kill). Could this be a perfume addressed to the Twilight generation? I’m positive they could easily identify with this contradictory marketing strategy. Although coherent and coordinated, the new Giorgio Armani perfume ad campaign, Code Luna feels like (as far as I’m concerned) a desperate move towards new, young customers.
