Chanel Iman In Usher’s Dive Video

I was in no particular mood this weekend so before I tell you how I spent half of it (scrubbing and mopping around the house) while the other half was just about as lazy as you get, please note that I’m only bringing Usher to your attention because of this video.

And more specifically because of Chanel Iman being in it. Otherwise completely eluding my musical / video sensitivity, Usher’s Dive must certainly target the teen population who still hopes that inhumanly gorgeous girls like Chanel do come along every street corner or so. Well, that being said, feel free to check out beautiful Chanel in Usher’s arms. As awkward as you can imagine.

Although you’d expect him to talk movies, Matthew McConaughey chose to talk with People about fashion. Because, Matthew McC is so good at everything and anything: “I do like to keep [my style] somewhat simple. I like fashion. I’m interested in it. But I would say this: You see some people with fashion and they try too hard and the clothes look like an accoutrement on them. The body, the movement and the fashion don’t seem to be one.”

Kate Moss put on her little black bikini for a little holiday weekend in the French Riviera. Because, you know, she worked so hard during the Olympics Closing Ceremony, she just had to get away from it all! Have you seen The Beaver? I know it was an Oscar joke (remember they all said they didn’t watch it? But hey, even Johnny Depp said he didn’t watch The Tourist, so The Beaver it’s not in such bad company after all…) but still – have you?

I did. Because I’m an honest admirer of Jodie Foster’s work and I thought the movie deserved some credit for that reason alone. Need I remind you that Mel Gibson was starring in The Beaver? And that the movie came out after his tumultuous personal life made the rounds of the tabloids? Or that, during his work at The Beaver, he used to attend any official event with the actual puppet on his hand?

Long story short – The Beaver was a great movie to watch! You should try it if you haven’t already! Why The Beaver talk in a Robsten situation update? Well, because Kristen Stewart starred in Panic Room with Jodie, back when Kristen was just a child actor. And now, Jodie has rumoredly pushed Kristen out of hiding because: “it was no good moping around the house and that the sooner she faced the world and was seen in public, the quicker she can move on with her life.”

Congrats to the happy parents and blessings for their little bundle of joy! With such funny genes (husband Chris Pratt stars in the excellent Parks and Recreation TV series), I bet that wee one Jack came into this world swinging some jokes and practicing a funnyman smile!

There’s no telling if Katy Perry is celebrating or grieving after her recent split from serial loverboy John Mayer. What’s for sure is that she’s rocking that ensemble! Let’s take note, girls: sheer dresses and leather jackets go heavenly together! Especially if the sheer dress in question has some flowery details to sweeten up the rocking ensemble!
