I’m always fascinated by the backstages of fashion. Whatever goes on behind closed doors picks my curiosity each and every time. Here’s how a Mulberry bag is made! And more specifically, the Mulberry Del Rey Bag! (the factory where the fashion spell takes place is called “The Rookery”, located in the Somerset countryside, where the Mulberry magic hails from)

Remember yesterday when I told you that, officially, hats are my new headbands? It’s true. I was wearing a lot of hair bows, bow ties and any kind of bow that could be pinned in my hair. A lot of hairbands. Now I only wear a scarf in my hair every now and then, tied in a bow, or a bow at the back, hiding my high bun bobby pins.

Today I found the most precious piece of vintage fashion & beauty dealing with the hair bows and their signification! It’s from an old issue of Life magazine (March 1944) and it was part of a larger story called “High School Fads”. I guess it’s a Back to School day today, huh?

Awww! Look who’s back! Sasha Pivovarova is looking better than ever and her Elle Germany September 2012 cover is all kinds of beautiful! (talking about Back to School shopping list!) I remember the last time I heard Cindy Crawford doing a collection it was all about the home: bedding & such. But now Cindy has stepped up her design game and she has this cute little collection with C & A all ready to drop into stores!

And you know what? If the lookbook wasn’t convincing enough, there’s this little video where she’s showing more pieces from the collection, talking through why and how she’d wear them – that’s what got to me! I loved more items than I care to admit! After all, who dresses at C & A anymore?
