Orange, Black And White Victoria Beckham Spring Summer 2013 Collection

If we’re to believe Victoria Beckham, the only colors you’ll need for Spring Summer 2013 are black, white and orange. That is if we’ll arrogantly assume that black & white are colors. Which they’re not. So, basically, if you want to stay in the fashion hype next summer, play it all on orange.

Combine it with what you already own in your closet, and you’ll have a perfectly trendy look. How easy is that? Especially with the timeless, classic cuts Victoria Beckham chose for her Spring Summer 2013 collection models – straightforward classic VB. Remember that police report citing Ryan Reynold’s wife as being Blake Lively? It wasn’t true at the time, but now it is! People reports that Sunday evening, Florence Welch performed a couple of songs for the newly married couple at their intimate wedding party in Charleston.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married this Sunday, September 9th. It is believed that filming together for Green Lantern (2011) got thing jumpstarted. Either way, they look really good together and seem to enjoy spending time with Blake’s family. Which could mean… awesomely cute kids on the way soon? Congrats and may this truly last forever and ever! (also – could we please have some pictures with the happily married Mrs Reynolds in her wedding dress?)

I know how it sounds, but it’s actually as funny as any other story a proud mama tells about her baby! Alicia Keys attended this year’s MTV Video Music Awards with her husband (Swizz Beatz) and her 23-month-old baby boy (Egypt Daoud). And what else to brag about but potty training? Alicia said to People: “Basically, […] I took him to the military! No, it’s really just consistency and love and support and it was just amazing.” Wonder if she sings about that in her new album…

(you haven’t forgot about our Family & such day, have you?) Awareness campaigns are so special! I can’t even imagine the tremendous work involved and the emotional charge of everyone who’s doing a PSA! Steven Klein photographed the beautiful Emma Stone and her mother for Revlon’s “Your Lips Can Save Lives” PSA.

It’s essentially about early cancer detection as Krista, Emma’s mother, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 (at 48). Since then, she underwent surgeries and chemotherapy but is now out of harm’s ways for four years already. It’s a beautiful awareness campaign for a great cause. So: don’t forget the yearly exam!

The ink hasn’t even dried out (figuratively speaking, of course!) on the latest story about Melissa newest collaboration and we’re at it again! Melissa has this really beautiful collection with Julie Verhoeven: pretty shoes, joyful shoes, colorful shoes! The kind of shoe that’ll bring a smile on your face, even if you’re looking down at your feet! And we need more of that! (smiles) {Melissa}

During NYFNO (nicely coded, huh? That stands for New York Fashion Night Out) which is, as you well know, part of the global Fashion Night Out initiative (basically a shopping night with all kinds of parties where you get your booze fix on so you’ll forget about your fixed budget. And when you also get to mingle with the rest of the fashion population, like all respectable zombies do – at sundown).

Now – now! What was I saying? Ah, yes! During the NYFNO, Modelinia got a hold of Karlie Kloss and Karlie confessed that she’s part of the new MTV House of Style show (yep, the same as the 90s House of Style, only for the new generation). And that Joan Smalls is co – hosting with her! October 9th – save the date for MTV! (wink)

Waiting for the new Jason Wu collection to show during the Fashion Week, let’s take a closer look at the ever – so – charming Jessica Chastain who just wore Jason Wu during the NYFNO events! The black and blue trompe l’oeuil leather dress is part of the Jason Wu Resort 2013 collection and it really looks wonderful on Jessica! Black & blue, leather and a smile. It’s what you need this fall!

Brad Goreski and Kate Spade really sounds like a fashion dream team, huh? Freshly out of the Instagram alleys (we’ll be talking more about that soon – wink), Kate Spade jewelry inspired (and presumably made) by Brad Goresky just made the Fashion Week debut.
